Ive got a Huglu side by side that I picked up for this purpose. I haven't had a chance to attend one yet with it but wondered if the over under with full chokes would be better

Roger, so I can bring something with a choke installed? Reason I ask is because the way I see it, if everyone had the same firearm, the results would be luck. 

Since were at it, what sort of shotgun is allowed? Can you use a choke?

It's a great little gun once you fix it. The combo of German safety devices and S&W's lack of quality in this thing led to its demise (IMO) Since I've fixed mine It has been flawless. Be patient and you'll be glad you own it once you've given it the attention it needs and let go of the fact that such a great company would pump out a product like that.

The biggest factor was the shooter left. He must've been drunk, that's my guess since he was on the way back from his sone wedding. That led to the victims to leave as well, a witness say them stop and dump a gun in the woods. That wasn't looked into until 4 days passed. Of course it was gone then. I believe Dunn did see a gun and feared for his life. But he left!

The stick is a great idea! I just wondered about a little help, my eyes certainly aren't what they used to be so I've come to appreciate a scope and it got me thinking about my steadiness, I'm sure that has diminished as well. May be it was never as good as I thought but I've learned the capability of my long guns with bipods.

I think letting someone know they're driving too fast is the right thing to do. While they may be one of those types that are always in a hurry, it was in a parking lot with people walking through it. What if you didn't say anything and next thing you know this clown hits a kid walking through. Some people just want trouble, no matter how idiotic it is. I think your actions were spot on, even if the kid made the move, you had an effective plan which might have ended the situation. Life lessons come by for some the hard way, his buddy might have rethought his next move as soon as the big guy was down. Glad it turned out with no violence!

It was new from a pawn shot near Morristown TN. I highly recommend adding this for small game, did I mention it is silly accurate? :) It has the accu trigger and bull barell. Less then 280 bones.

Picked up a Savage and finally zeroed the scope. This thing is ridiculously accurate! Ridiculous! I thought my 10/22 with the Kidd barrel was good but, this combo is just silly!
