I read the quip about being an attorney as being a joke, and wouldn't be offended if I were one. This topic could be uncovering one of the many ways the powers that be are using to reduce firearm ownership. After all, they know what's best for us and following the law is mostly accepted if you look at the top. Good luck with this issue!

Good thing we didn't jump to conclusions. There are two sides to every story and if the media would report instead of withhold and report, we'd be a better nation. http://www.news4jax.com/news/report-zimmerman-denies-throwing-bottle-at-ex/30663744

From what Ive read, awhiel back now, the more claims the better their record for evaluation purposes. The more productive the bigger the year end (or whenever it is) bonus they can get. I have to say, I don't understand why any gov't worker get a bonus at all.

I too considered a Pac Lite for my MKII with a pencil barrel. Went to my LGS to inquire about FFL and he said the same thing about the MKIII Lite. I am the proud owner of a Lite now and it worked out to be cheaper and I don't have spare parts laying around. The 22/45 has some design issues, all of which that can be fixed including the mag base plate.

The backlog for acceptance has jumped in recent years (obama) last I saw it was over a 2 year wait. I was lucky, my claim was fastracked because I filed when I was active duty and the organizer hadn't infused his ilk in leadership yet. My ol lady's claim took over 2 years with the cute little process of them saying they were missing her medical record and other pertinent info. The VA has been caught sitting and transferring lenghty packages and processing the smaller claims due to turnover. The more claims processed, the bigger the bonus for the worker. My last trip there, an older gentleman, guessing about 80 started yelling and losing his cool. He was pissed about the lazy person at the desk to welcome and check in patients. (he was not wrong with his assessment, these are some of the laziest folks I've seen)sorta like the walmart greeter that doesn't greet you. He was escorted out. My appointment was canceled, they forgot to notify me. Too bad so sad. I think there are several problems that are too big to fix. 1. Unions in civil service, bad, bad, bad idea for the end user and taxpayer. (It's good if you are for the "Cloward Piven Strategy" 2. too many bureaucrats running the show, most with no real world experience. 3. A disdain and hate for the military and veterans that are considered possible terrorists, this is the worst I have seen in my lifetime I'm 47. 4. Ethics seem to be lacking in the big picture. It is bad, and a shame. I hope that young man gets help and let him know that many of us appreciate his sacrifice and service! Have him contact his congressman, senator and DAV. Someone can help him

Ugly replied to 173rdABN's topic in Competitive Shooting Sports
Congrats, that looks like one heck of a course! -
I you were close I'd help you out. 4 hrs away though. Good luck and hope you find a good service. I'd look for a local handyman, some of those guys can do great work.

The L series is nice but I know I'll push the limit with the incline, I think a B series will still meet the needs. I won't need it for bush hogging but maybe a finish mower to get the spots the zero turn can't make it.

My wife got a card for that in the mail. It says she can use civilian services if the VA wait is too long, there isn't much more info than that and she hasn't tried it yet. Hopefully it helps those that need it.

I've got an Exmark zero turn and have had one of the hyd pumps slip while on a steep slope. It was not very enjoyable to lose control. The weight of a tractor would make the situation worse.

I've had the problem of getting appointments in a timely fashion. The shortest was 3 weeks and the next was 11 weeks and the third was just under 6 months. The quality of care is something to be desired too. The average appointment time was between 10 and 20 minutes. I avoid the place now but do know there are a lot of good people there that want to help. It has become a machine that seems too broken to fix without a complete revamp. My Dr retired, they had temps filling in for 3 years, finally got a new Dr and she seemed real, like she cared. I asked her if she was going to be my perm Dr and she told me she already resigned (less than 6 months there). She said the management was so dysfunctional that she didn't see it getting better and it wasn't run to be about medical care. Kinda like any gov run program I guess. My prognosis? Yes, it is that bad.

Thanks for the input folks! All good stuff! I too am a mechanic and nothing irritates me more than a company not standing by their machine or carrying parts. The main reason I am thinking of staying small is because of the steep property. I would like an L (kubota) size tractor but think I'd get better climbing capability with a bx size. I'm a fan of used because of the price and will see who else besides Kubota is close by
-
In the market for a small tractor. I need a low center of gravity due to steep property, a bucket and probably a back hoe and probably a box blade. I'll be using it for general yard stuff, keeping the drive smooth and the occasional footer dig. I know Kubota has a good product, how about Mahindra, John Deer or ? Also will the hydro trans be susceptible to slipping like a zero turn mower can? Should i get a direct drive? I'm also looking for durability, ownership by the company of their product and I appreciate any and all advice!

All I know is I'm glad I wasn't raised or allowed to be a low life thug thief. I would expect to pay for my evil ways.

Good find OS, Good price too

I called the police one time when I saw 3 guys get out of a car parked outside the house I was staying. One guy had a shotgun, one a baseball bal and the other guy had some sore of bag full is stuff. It was 1230 at night and each had a black ski mask on. Guess how long it tools the cops to ahow up......... Nope, they never showed.
-
Seriously? Oh well, at least sharpton got paid and the thieves can freely break in to homes in a gated community now for PC
-
In my thoughts and prayers! You can get past these obstacles with ease!
-
On the other side of things, this dudes life was ruined because of the BS. He's broke, jobless, lost his family and people want to kill him. I've got a feeling he wouldn't be screwing up as much as he is if his life weren't turned upside down by the likes of al sharpton.

Kansas gun store attempted robbery
Ugly replied to chances R's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Man is that a shame! Rip store owner and hope the rest heal up! You have to be a special kind of stupid to rob a gun store. -
I had the pleasure to visit a coffee house / bar/ massage parlor / :) in Santiago Chile, their coasters were if similar material. I think these are a great idea and would use them as patch and coasters. Yeungling is the cheapest beer to cross my path :)
-
Welcome! I lived in Maryland in the outskirts of Waldorf, I don't miss MD one second.
-
Would you be offended if I used them as coasters under my chilled adult beverage :) ?

All this inconvenience to the productive side of society for what? To campaign. When does it end.........

More on What I Feel Is The Most Likely Scenario
Ugly replied to Moped's topic in Survival and Preparedness
Concur with the hydro, is the best option for renewable energy, at least the less environmentally impactful. Problem is, water is the most destructive force of nature. Perhaps a Glock material turbine system would do it :)
