It's evident he's amazing. He is so wise that he says what is really happening as opposed to the reality we all see. He has a 100% rate!

Btr, that's my point about Jade Helm. Is it training for over seas or to familiarize the locals? Why would these guys be dressed for battle?

I defiantly don't dig the militant vibe, to protect and serve whom? Operation Jade Helm......

I came across this story and besides the scenario where the drivers girlfriend had her head in his lap, the deputy said the driver used an improper hand signal because his arm was out the window and middle finger out. I had a deputy tell me that it's not illegal to give someone the bird but he did say as a man, he wouldn't take it very long. Which I can understand. Personally I can't remember the last time I gave anyone the bird, I'd rather use words in the form of conversation to address the issue. Unless the organizers bus drove by, I wouldn't hold back. So my question is; is giving the bird a violation of law or just immature ethics?

Safety awareness is effective if it is emphasized on auto driers as well as motorcyclists. That should be the drive instead of a helmet law. I have witnessed effective safety campaigns in two states. Florida has even made headway by teaching school kids to be aware of motorcycles and bicycles on the road. Stiff penalties for car drivers go along way too! For too long the "I didn't see em" was an excuse that let drivers off with a slap on the wrist. Jail time opens up some eyes. I think the dude in the video was goin too fast otherwise he would've stopped or avoided the car. Of course the car turned in from of him and didn't have a clear path. Should be found at fault as well.

As a biker in traffic, you have to be on the defense constantly. I have become suspect of every single vehicle around me, I expect them to not see me. It makes me ride slower, keep my head on a swivel and avoid as much traffic as I can.

Warning, it is disturbing. The family decided to share their sons footage of his last ride. Ride safe and look out for the other guy! http://q13fox.com/2014/09/05/family-releases-gopro-video-of-fatal-motorcycle-crash-for-road-safety-campaign/

Right to Bear Arms? Gun grabbing sweeping the nation
Ugly replied to The Legion's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Kalifornia has had a goon squad for several years. Sounds like other antis are using the same tactics. Unbelievable! -
Ya gotta watch out for sunburn though :) On another note, looks like the bill has life again! http://www.local8now.com/home/headlines/Bill-to-do-away-with-Tennessee-helmet-requirement-revived---299114141.html?device=phone&c=y

Those (LWT) that use this term in a political spectrum have no desire to refer to reality. The only purpose is to demonize and legislate, or dictate. If they say it's scary, it should be removed from the hands of law abiding citizens. As stated ab

TN Gun Deaths exceed car deaths in 2013 ..... (right....)

The source of the study is reason enough to stop reading the article. -
I did it. I rode today without a helmet. No no, I didn't break the law, I happen to be out of town in a state that has the option to ride without a helmet. I'm happy to report taxpayers don't have to shell out millions of dollars (or whatever fictitious # they use) because I was able to avoid the many many, many reckless and careless car drivers all around me. God Bless America and what little freedom we have left!

Dolomite, you nailed it for me. My compact 1911 has an offset safety due to design. In an iwb I was worried about it breaking. It's only offset on the left side. The right is against the frame.

Thanks for sharing, glad to hear this. I've heard the county Jack is in is dry so it's nice they could loosen the noose for a (rather large) local business -
The libs are getting worse. They are absolutely void of logic.

Happy Easter to all!

I found this thread searching the XD. I am a 1911 fan and even splurged on a Kimber for carry. I have found that the thumb safety has walked off numerous times with an IWB. I don't bother too much with an OWB due to warm temps and covering up. I have a shoulder rig but haven't found that I'm not a huge fan. Because of the safety issue, I decided on a Glock and even choked down caliber to .40, reason being is someone at a gunshop asked me "isn't .40 enough" The Glock is great for what it's purpose for me is but I still like the 45. I had an XD tactical in .45 and man o man, this thing is awesome, never once had an issue firing it, probably have 1k rounds through it with various ammo. My contribution to this thread? I think the built in safeties of the strikers are ingenious (personally). How many times have you found yourself going to take a shot with something and found the safety on? I know I have and it is probably because I have the strikers in my life but if that one shot is the one that counts............................ I actually like the grip safety too, it keeps my grip discipline in check, never had an issue with it.

Well, from what I've seen either Ted is a liar and did dodge the draft or the progressives have done a smear campaign on him.

I will have to look up teds past and present. I've heard mention of draft dodger but not much else. I'll do some background checking.
