  1. Could be a publicity stunt, instantly to the top of the news charts.
  2. This topic is driven by a small group of society as are most things involving hate. While the militarization certainly seems over the line of protect and serve, it was pushed by those with an agenda. I'm sure most of the law enforcement community is on board because having that stuff is bad ass. Even small town departments are getting a plethora of toys and tools.   I believe the negative view is part of the indoctrination process, because it wasn't like that when I went to school. Police and all adults were respected and trusted.
  3. I thought the recommended procedure now was to throw a can of food...... My bad, I thought I was on the school teacher forum
  4. If you get too bored, I've got about 5 acres that need to be cut:)
  5. I agree that running puts innocents at risk. I am a biker and would never run. Then again I'm law abiding. Some of these guys on crotch rockets run just because they're so fast and can get away(sometimes). 38 miles he ran and we don't know what kind of harm he caused during that. I would've taken him out with the car too. It was a prime opportunity.
  6. Well, I think this is excessive. Run a stop sign, get shot. http://patdollard.com/2015/04/watch-texas-trooper-shoots-motorcyclist-after-high-speed-chase-ninja-kicks-him-off-bike/

    New baby

Congratulations! That is awesome! Dating will suck but there will be so many other great things to deal with, hope she likes to hunt!
  8. Absolutely not. Logic and facts are not part of liberalism.
  9. If it was properly maintained, 800 hours isn't much. Look at the oil, see how dirty it is. Look for play at pivot points and casters. If it's all good I would get it. I bought an exmark with over 10k hrs on it. I needed to do work to it but the issuers were pivot points. Of course it was dirt cheap and worth it's weight in gold now.
  10. If you get a Kaw engine, ensure you use the correct weight of oil. They have been known to blow a seal because of too heavy a weight.
  11. Anything but paper :)
  12. "Nobody needs 30 round magazines for hunting" A. Lib Hahahaha
  13. My point is it would be nice if the party would be held accountable for their decisions. It doesn't matter whose money it is, they gave it to a democrat to waste as a democrat.
  14. Hillary is gonna blow 2.5Billion! They don't have enough?
  15. There is probably an oversized warehouse full of excess furniture and pool tables, dartboards and cots for naps with a staff standing by for the call. And a couple of filing cabinets full of cases.
  16. Depending on your use, my 2c is you can't afford not to get a Mac. I did and never looked back. What you save in price for a windows unit you'll spend on programs to keep your system safe. Macs are a pain at first and it is because they are so simple they are difficult. It takes a bit of patience and since we have the fabulous al gore web, it's easy to find out any answers to questions you might have. But since you've got an I pad you are mostly accustomed to the Mac world.
  17. I'm sure you'll master it unless your fingers are the size of big toes :)   I usually use a little iPhone.   Good luck on your next computer (if you so choose)
  18. OS, I did in MD when I was stationed there. As a general note, wouldn't accountability by legislators be great? Not just the occasional loss at the ballot but true accountability? For example in this case, if this program costs the taxpayers 1million, take it from the party itself and put it in the budget. I know that it's rhetorical because I'm sure there are folks that feel the law was still successful because in their mind any gun law is. I will say in MD the electric company ( co-op) would send a check back to the bill payers after the FY from the profits. Other than that, nothing else positive I can think of from there.
  19. As a taxpayer, I feel the legislators need to be financially liable for their failed programs. I bet millions were spent in this. Zero crimes solved, zero.
  20. Do we really think straw purchases occur frequently? I figured it was as often as a legal gun owner commits a crime. I have heard of one actual straw purchase in my 40+ years. It was a female sailor who bought one for her boyfriend who turned out to be a slime ball. She did time for it too.
  21. You didn't wake up on the wrong side of the bed. You saw reality and it pissed you off. Me too, more than usual! On a good note, the recall process has been started for 3 of the butt monkeys that passed the law. More to follow too.

I think President Reagan was a visionary to implement he Star Wars program :)
