I wear readers now and have recently been trying to use them to focus on the front sight. Perhaps it will be easier for her because she isn't used to shooting without them. I have found the target area is more difficult with glasses but without them the front sight is blurry. It is quite the conundrum (for me) I would try iron sights first and go from there. If I wear glasses with a red dot it causes a depth problem because of the laser.

Congrats! I was a roofer many years ago, before metal became popular. I've got metal on my home now and love it. It can get loud in a heavy rain but it is calming. Got some dings in from hail but it can't be seen from the ground.

I think you can relax, these brainiacs determined that if we spend lots and lots of money that winds up in their pockets the climate will let us survive what would be a tragic slow cooking death. And the unicorns will come back!

There are a lot of good people out there, it is nice to come across them and restore hope for humanity. Bad neighbors suck!

When imports first started to come to the states in masse, they were cheap. The big three killed them selves because of unions and now we have craply American vehicles. The bad thing for foreign vehicle owners is the price of parts. Just compare a rotor for a Chevy and Toyota at the parts place. It's a sad state of affairs, fer sure. Personally I wouldn't buy a foreign truck for hauling, if you don't haul, have at it.

Well I've gotta say I'm an American truck fan, not because of the value, we know that sucks but because I haul stuff. I have an 08 Ram which has impressed me tremendously as did my last 2 chevy's and Ford. If you don't haul, the Tacoma is probably the way.

I didn't know either till I got my Kidd barrel. The good side is it shoots cheap 22lr extremely well. I save the mini mags for my other 22 lead slingers.

Not sure about the Magnum Research barrel but you can't (not supposed to at least) shoot minimags out of a Kidd barrel. The tolerance is too tight, worth looking into as it could be jamming the case in to the rifling. The 10/22 is a fantastic rifle, I've only had the metal trigger housings and have never had a problem with them other than crud. I agree with not fixing something if it isn't broke but you can make it better :)

Don't know about Bigfoot but thanks for the heads up about the batteries. I just got a new camera and would hate to get it chewed up right off the bat.

Perhaps there is more to the story than meets the eye. Perhaps the couple was fishing for someone to deny them service for a pay day. May be they denied service for some other reason. That's the problem with laws like that. Perhaps the bakery is tired people making a big to do about nothing. I will say as fro me, in the past, I would have made the cake. I have the ultra raptor II, it is a bit overpriced but it is the best shooting 1911 I have ever had my hands on. Shoots way better than my full size springfield. I've had a couple of FTF but it was from old ammo that had corrosion on the cases from by paw prints. I've got about 1500+ rounds through it and no other problems. I don't like that it says Yonkers NY on the frame, but at least it's the US. I recommend the kimber. If you're in east TN you can give it a go. Can't speak of the Sig but do know the Germans are safety nazi's. I had to de-safety nazi my walther P-22 to make it worth a damn. Once I did it is great. Kept me away from Sigs though.
