Heard a report on fox that the FBI was there immediately. My guess is they knew there was some sort of threat.

It could come down to being offended. This frail flower is probably gonna have some severe psychological scars from seeing such products and CT is near the top of the sensitivity chain. I suspect more to come, it'll never stop. Well, almost never.

Good thing they clarified it was a "legal" handgun. I'm assuming "they" consider most handguns illegal.

The truth is mostly absent anymore, damn near everywhere.

That is my favorite cheesy movie, I laugh every time I watch it. My ol lady hates it, makes no sense to me :)

I have a little tank bag now but realize I usually pick up a lot of crap when I'm running errands. I'll have to expand the tank bag but will add a tail bag for now. That and bungee cords should get me by. Thanks for all the input!   First ride today, all on street but I did get to check her out. I am impressed with the KLR. It actually ran great on the blacktop but can tell it'll be way better in the dirt than the F650. I was debating on a 1200GS but couldn't pass up the deal here. I like the weight and size of the 650's and look forward to getting this thing dirty.

I had an F650 (talk about ugly) with givi side bags and a bmw top case. I didn't like the looks or the lack of flexibility. I bought a wolfman tank bag and that by far has been my favorite bike bag yet. The klr doesn't seem to have the room for the big tank bag. I thought about a pelican case for the back (not cheap and heavy) or a wolfman tail bag (really not cheap). I do like the look of ammo cans but don't want to clothesline on a tree. Thanks for the input, I'm thinking about a cheap waterproof tail bag to start. I've always squired ugly bikes too, they tend to be cheaper :)

The ammo is reported by cnn. The second link, although it's a fox affiliate, it is taken from a cnn writeup (credit at the bottom) I've read some local reports that questions the ammo report. The pic of him sitting on the ground against the wall shows him wearing civvies. My guess is he was just going for a picture to look cool and someone got scared of the scary black rifle.

Personally I would avoid city water if financially feasible. Besides the chemicals the likelihood of hardness in east TN is great. When I bought the house, most of the plumbing fixtures were ruined from the calcium in the water. I had to replace toilet innards, the dish washer, the kitchen sink, the lavatory sink and flush out the water heater.    That's why I called a well driller. I'm on the side of a mountain so it can be costly. Needless to say I stuck with what I had but installed a conditioner and filter. There is no telling what kind of chemicals are making it through though.    If artesian wells were prevalent in my area I would invest in a well.   I did live in a home with a shallow well and it was absolutely the worst water I've ever had. I don't recommend it unless it's your only option and plan on having some great filters involved so you can enjoy the purpose of water :)   Good luck!

They do have quite a selection and last time I was in there (2 weeks ago) they had a good quantity of 22, post panic prices but they at least had some. 

Netflix has some pretty cool shows, I am impressed with it. I didn't get on board till after they split their mail and online service but think it's a value for what it is.    Of course with the new "net neutrality" or what ever the takeover by the fed is, I'm sure end users will be affected by data rates before long which will drive up the prices in addition to any creative taxes these clowns come up with.

I remember her too, those were the days before cnn became so tainted.  Glad this turned out well for the good guys and I hope he recovers 100%!

  The land of make believe that has 5.3% unemployment doesn't pay the bills when you look at the actual employment numbers.    I dig netflix but would drop em if they are taxed where I am. 

I had a drain plug on my primary depart my bike while on a group ride, I found out after the guy behind let me know he was getting crop dusted with oil.    A local tree donated a branch that got whittled down and screwed in. It held for over a year and was still holding when I finally replaced it.   Good idea with the dime! 

Yeah, where I am you can have em dig and they'll charge as deep as they dig or you can pay a flat rate of 10k and they'll go till hit water. Option 1 could be cheaper or it could be more than 10 k.

Happy countries? Please name some. I was in Germany when they made it to the World Cup and of course they went nuts. Next day, everyone was back to trudging through life without their smiles. For them the reality of extreme energy costs, high taxes, food and transportation costs along with excessive migration into their land makes for a miserable day to day life. I consider Germany a Happier country then Most over there.
