I came across a mag tactical lower which is lightweight due to its makeup of magnesium/aluminum alloy. The company was pushing lightweight. After a little research I've found they had some machining and finish issues as well as some failures. From what I can tell the failures were a result of ammo. The company no longer exists, which is a bad sign. It apparently isn't mil spec either since they had to beef up the areas around the trigger pins and have longer (proprietary) pins. I was wondering if anyone can offer some advice on it, should I make it a paperweight or give it a go? Thanks in advance folks!

Shortly after I bought one a few years ago. The axis was a good value, it has to be much better with the better trigger.

Personally I think the best way to judge a candidate is to look at their past performance. Not what comes out of their pie hole. It is still easy to do with non politicians, just gotta do some research.

They are eating something. My neighbors dog has brought home several deer legs in the last year. I'm guessing he is finding carcasses and picking up the scraps. Yesterday I found some chicken feathers by my house, I don't have chickens but do have woods. The yotes are out here nearly every night as well, seeming right after sunset every time I hear em. I don't know about the TWRA but do suspect the above post is right on target with them.

One thing we didn't seem to touch on here is the fact education (period) was better before the government and libs (but i digress) got involved. I'm upper 40's, the first college class I took was macroeconomics, it was dumbed down to the middle school level ( from when I went to middle school at least). Combine the dumbing down of public school and government cash infusion in to the mix and ta-da! We have our current situation.

There is too much logic involved here. The govt doesn't talk to itself, it makes up new rules which require more people and processes. The beauty is they are so efficient that human error is multiplied. I think the 86 has been rendered useless since 2008.

I don't think the cowards are up for a fight where fire will be returned ( and return we will) that's the only reason inmo we haven't seen a Paris type attack. Of course they could be a time when someone says "go" and it breaks out all over, that I would expect.

If the debt is turned over to civilians and federal marshalls are going to collect, where does this stop? Will all unpaid bills wind up being collected in the same manner? Just seems logical. I don't condone not paying your debts but do think this is ridiculous. I got a parking ticket on my "unattended" landscape trailer in PA when I was visiting, didn't realize it because the rain turned into pulp by the time I picked it up a week later. It turned into a warrant for my arrest over $12. By the time I got it resolved it cost me $150. Shades of tactics in ferguson? I think so.

As a proud American I have flown Old Glory for the last 27 years, of course this requires attention to pay respect properly. For the last 10 years I've been using a flagpole which makes me need to pay particular attention to the status of our great flag. Tennessee seems to have the flag status at the bottom of all of their .gov websites which I think is great. The bad part is it seems to take time for them to update the status. My observation tells me that they don't update it until it's a regular workday which could cause some delay and of course confusion. I will say hat at this point in time and with the sacrifices I've made for the Stars and Stripes, I make the call for my own display and don't wait for .gov to get around to updating status. What irks me is when I see restaurants and businesses at an obvious loss of status. I will say it doesn't appear too often but occasionally is see some at half mast while some aren't. Rant over Of course I've got all the respect in the world for those that put the effort and money towards displaying The Stars and Stripes. Just wonder if anyone here has a better source for flag status so I'm not going rogue.

Yeah, that would've been nice to know! I still wonder why it costs so much. Pa is $25. Does Tn have to hire union govt civilians to run the background check or? How hard can it be to run someone's name and prints through the system, don't they do it if you are arrested? Seems to me like honest people paying the bills, as usual.

if you have a 30 year fixed rate mortgage and make one extra payment a year toward principle, it will shave off 12 years of payments. I had a friend show me this on paper many years ago and have applied it to my mortgages. In my opinion it makes sense to do even if you don't plan on staying in the home forever.    That is my recommendation and you are in good financial shape for a reason, congrats! I would do more homework and weigh out the pros and cons and make your decision.
