This is the first time I heard or read it, funny and fantastic!

Nope. Smith & Wesson 686 vs a Glock 23.
-
Id like to attend as well.
-
I'd like to like this 10x please! Shumer should be locked up and put in a straight jacket!
-
Just wait and see. Otherwise it could be a shady deal! If you are legal, then fix the problem first, there should be no rush except for gotta have it now syndrome
-
Freeking cool! That looks like it spent a lot of time in water, great jab at colt too Congrats on being the proud owner of a unique piece of art!

Welcome and you should file an appeal (I think that's what it's called). It could be that they have you mistaken or more likely, re screened your past and if they found anything that wasn't clear since your youth just denied it if they couldn't get a definitive answer. I've seen that happen. The first seller should have offered to do that, as well as the second. I would go back to the last one and have them send it in. Otherwise, consult a lawyer and pay up to have it remedied. Good luck!

Well, I never heard it's supposed to pass through. I know they're not cheap and hard to find. I'll ask my peeps about it though, thanks.

I've been eying them up as well. I have two friends with recurve crossbows and after trying to get my never used by me compound bow restrung, the $ involved for a custom made string isn't worth it, might as well buy a new bow. It has me looking at a recurve as well. From what I understand, some crossbows are too powerful for close shots, the bolt can just pass through. A recurve will have enough power without the overkill. Used archery equipment can be a risk for sure, I think you'll be able to find something new in your budget if you are patient and don't need the latest and greatest. I'll let you know if I find something that fits your and my bill.

I will say the XD trigger is leaps and bounds smoother than a Glock trigger. The grip safety doesn't bother me but I like 1911's and am accustomed to a firm grip. Definately a good deal with the costs of their mags. Thanks for the heads up!

I used to be able to hit pigeons in flight with my rock throwing wrist rocket. I could probably carry it in one of those anti states. Imagine hitting someone in the forehead with a slinged rock? It'd be cartoonish but I bet they would run!
-
I would trust a 22lr if I had to.
-
I am anti Pats at this point since they tainted their incredible skills and capability with CHEATING! i won't boycot it but I wont ever go to another game or spend a dime on their paraphernalia. I will however watch it and partake is some fine finger foods as well as some locally brewed Hefeweizen! Halftime show is Lady Gaga, she's gonna celebrate diversity or something. She is extremely talented, hope she doesn't ruin it with SJW stuff.

well, the powers that be must think it's safer to have the firearm laying on the seat, or dash, or under the seat, somewhere unsecured where it could freely move about. While the castle doctrine may not be that complicated, it sure seems like they are trying to make it complicated inmo.
-
Seems to me that a simple statement such as "wherever you are is your castle" would give us the freedom to protect ourselves at all times. Other than that it's just complicated law to make law abiding citizens possible lawbreakers. Of course, it's for the children!

I always heard Georgia sucked, that's why the Saint Johns river flows north!

I picked up a Savage 93R17 just for yotes. It turned out to be ridiculously accurate. It has a 20" bull barrel and accused trigger. Absolutely the most accurate cartridge I've ever shot out of a stock gun. Ive also got a 22 mag by Marlin, model 57, short stroke lever action with a 24" barrel. The trigger is a bear but the rifle is still accurate and hard hitting. The sound of impact is quite impressive when comparing them. I haven't had a shot at a yote yet but would trust either one to do the job. Unless it's windy, .17 will stay in the house then.

In my prayers! I hope for the best and stay positive! Whatever Gods plan is, it's certainly good to be on his side.

Sounds kind of slimey of the dude! back to metal roofing, I just bought some for 1.99 a lf x 36". It's heavy gauge and painted. Low prices are gone for now after the wonderful faux economy. I wanted some used to match my barn but all I could find costs more than new. It's apparently trendy and we are too close to Asheville. i suspect prices will right themselves now that we have an actual adult in charge.

Federal interstate handgun ban ruled unconstitutional

I saw the date and remember reading it back then. It shows how good our judicial system is, or hope to say soon, was! -
I certainly understand the humane part of it, I am an animal lover. but don't under estimate a 22. Ma y an animal and many a human met their demise with one. An accurate rifle and a cool temperament, it would be just fine. Of course I would prefer the .17 or 22mag. Perhaps it's a good reason to add something to the collection. Personally I don't like to use a high power round when there are homes and people near by. Not worth the risk for me.

Not yet but have a rifle standing by (I have em in the yard on occasion) with velocitors in it. This ammo seems hard hitting and accurate. I wouldn't hesitate with it.

Concur! The whole handgun in your home state law is ignorant! I see no way at all where this makes sense except to restrict the rights of a states residents. But I guess that is the point. -
The rancher is fantastic and I plan on keeping it to my last day! never had a problem except the prime bulb dried out after about 6 years. Apparently they changed the location of the oil port for the bars somewhere along the line. Mine has an 18" and a 24" bar (I know, too big for this saw but it came as a kit and works fine as long as you let it work) and a couple of handful of chains. I'm on the fence on next bar and chain size but I would certainly go Husqvarna again.
