  1. i;m gonig to tomorrow if the sales still good
  2. ^^not monetarily, but their usefulness and necessity is invaluable at that point.
  3. lol, wow. i think i just peed myself a little.
  4. well that's certainly a fitting alias. but do you add or subtract the linp/gimp thing when you alternate? anyway, thanks for the info guys.
  5. i know i'm going down there tomorrow morning!
  6. yet you fail to imply that you stole the name verbal kint from kevin spacey's character...unless you really are kevin spacy, and in hiding. it wouldn't surprise me after Being John Malkovich
  7. i was actually implying one could commit a crime with someone else's gun. but i see and hear your point there, well taken. and thanks for the info guys, i'm waiting for someone with for sure specific knowledge to chime in now
  8. thanks. appendix carry was one option my doctor recommended, I may have to try it. smallish guy with slight gut, i think it'll work. but one thing is my shirts are usually flush with or near my from of pants area. I think the back conceals better since the shirt falls from the shoulder s over a concave back and it hides better afaik.
  9. yep yep yep. at least it's available cheaply in bins as a movie no one buys. why, i have no clue. i'd just pirate it a guess. argh matey! now i'm off to lay down and try to sleep again. it's bad when even benadryl won't knock me out lol. 3:30 and i've been up since 6. grr i think i've got an alien chip in my neck controlling my sleep cycle. :tinfoil:and making me crave brains....mmm, brains!
  10. and we know who's gonna pull overnight duty when the zombies attack:D:tinfoil:
  11. it's a helluva flick. mine went missing a while back. i have a feeling it went in the blockbuster box and that's where my extra copy of natural born killers marked'blockbuster' came from. just a suspicion but i'm kinda convinced.
  12. ah, thank you mister kobayashi...er, kint. another late night helper i see.
  13. or a g21sf:koolaid: or anyother model with ambi mag releases
  14. hmm. i'm just curious because they handle other people's guns all the time on a regular basis. not that a gunsmith would do something illegal or such, but hypothetically that's kinda scary. maybe i'm just running low on timfoil.:tinfoil::D
  15. well, it's not necessarily that i want to do it, i'm really just curious. aside from school, what other requirements are there? i'm about to do a little research from what i've found so far.
  16. i thought i remembered that gift clause, but wanted to check. does anyone have a link to a printable 4473 form or pdf for reference? thanks guys.
  17. ^^^yup. so even an SKS with C&R status, a curio or relic milsurp gun, should be illegal in their minds. nonsense i tell you. i hope that doesn't also include garands and related guns, i'm really starting to regret selling mine. time for another sks too, i guess.
  18. So I was at my chiropractor today and asked him about the repercussions of carrying the way I do. I usually keep my gun about 5'o'clock, not quite middle of back but to my dominant side. It seems to provide the most concealability balanced with draw time, since I'm a small guy (5'10" 160) with a full size gun. According to him that, over time, can lead to problems. I'm just getting through injuries from a car wreck and wanting to not hinder my recovery, so I may take his advice and carry at 3'o'clock. According to him, right on the hip is best, then in the front, then in the MOB. So I wonder, how do other people carry?
  19. So my b rother's birthday is coming up in the next month or so. He's turning 21, and I want to buy him a handgun. I'm wanting to do it legally, but still surprise him. If I were to buy a gun, then give it to him ala FTF sale, but free, would I be legal? Since he's not a felon or anything it wouldn't be a straw sale since I'm buying directly for someone else right? I just don't want to have to bring him into the shop with me and let him know in advance what I'm getting him. Thanks.
  20. This is just a curiosity more than anything, but what does it take to become a gunsmith? I've always loved tinkering, and taking apart/reassembling things. Is there a class, certification, or license? Is it a difficult process and does it involve federal licensing like a dealer?
  21. Just curious, but were original C&R SKSs ilegalized during the first AWV? would they be included in a new AWB were it to happen? Remember, original, not sporterized
  22. what about these? from the same site, 5.7 AR uppers using PS90 mags. http://www.americantactical.us/images/ATI09_ARU_UPPER.jpg
  23. nice!!! what upper do you have on there?
  24. That's awful. Somebody superior to that cop needs to educate him a little. He won't listen to lowly civilians like you. That is only IF this is true, and your brother in law isn't full of hot air.
  25. Who else?
