It's Halloween, tons of fun stuff going on, but you're doing NOTHING, except maybe seeing a few friends play music and having a long shot at getting laid. Then, from out of the blue, comes a call. A call so terrifying and life changing you can't quite believe it........ "Steve? Hey, ummmmmm........if you had a choice of going to see your friends' band tonight, or Nine Inch Nails.....what would you do?" You imagine this has something to do with the fact that she's traded here tickets to thsi for AC/DC and that she's trading back and now you're really not getting laid tonight, until you hear, "......you want to come? Be here asap.......:rock:" Oh yeah, through poor circumstances I have missed seeing these guys every single time they were in town for at least ten years, since I was old enough to comprehend it. And I see them on Halloween night (I've got plenty of pics and video and a bootleg if anyone else is remotely interested). SSWWWEEEEEEETTT:rock: And then wander around second avenue seeing the crazies with their crazy costumes, $9 beers, and general insanity that reminds me why I never go downtown at night... Guys, this may be a tad of topic, but are those .38 rounds in the pictures? Especially in the second one they look quite long, even though they always seemed long to me. I had a S&W 638 a while back and just don't remember the cartridges being that long.

And even though I once was emloyed by them, I've also worked for 3 of the major 4 companies, and here's the bottom line. T-Mobile and AT&T are GSM. Good distance per tower on flat terrain, not so much in hills/mountains. Verizon and Sprint are CDMA. Better transmission throughout hills, less distance per tower on flat land. CDMA is more appropriate for most areas of TN. Sprint is cheaper than Verizion, and better than it's GSM competitors in most local markets, therefore it's the logical choice.

Just a heads up, but if you haven't heard the voting machines in nashville are acting up again. Apparently there's a 'review your votes' and a 'vote now' button. If you press 'review your votes' then it actually swaps some of them. AFAIK you're okay by hitting the 'vote now' button. I don't know if all machines are affected or any specifics; I'm voting later today. But my dad has heard about this and warned me, and my buddy Larry actually had his vote switched from McCain to Obama, and apparently nothing can be done to change it. Bad programming??? Vast evil NWO conspiracy???? I don't know, but be sure you vote for who you intend to.
