i dunno, i likely wouldn't shoot a 12gauge with a full stock and non vertical grip angle from the hip, but my 870 with a pistol grip has got to be shot from the hip AFAICT. I wouldn't want it coming back toward my face, there's just not enough control for that without a shoulder stock. and hearing all this about 9mm price makes me wish I liked it as much as .45 :/

Well, if i was shooting stamped ammo at the range, some criminal came by and got my brass. Then he shoots someone, picks up his brass and drops mine. All of a sudden I'm a murderer. That's one scary proposition.

amen, that just about sums up my thoughts on the matter. sadly my girl totally disagrees - one of her favorite sayings when i piss her off is "say hello to your president elect and say goodbye to your guns!" and somehow we still get along. I'm just hoping the rest of the country can get by with compromises that don't leave too much out for the next four years kinda like us.
