  1. "...you're just a copy of an imitation....." lol
  2. OH, mine's just a Thunder 9 Ultra Carry. the pro model with the higher cap mag may cause more printing, but i don't really know.
  3. I'm using a Don Hume IWB holster for mine. it was mad for a baby glock but fits perfectly. Great retention, nice leather, rides high and tight. I'd recommend one any day.
  4. So I've heard over time about using snap caps to dry fire. I just picked up a 6 pack ($25) while getting some slugs and other stuff. I'm wondering what use they really have in a centerfire gun (9mm) just for dry firing and learning trigger control and such? Isn't the firing pin going intoan empty chamber was no problem. I know rimfire's the exact opposite. I really bought them to load as duds for tap rack bang training, with someone else loading my mags. Anybody have some insight or experience or advice here? Just general info? Thanks in advance.
  5. Glock 26...No frills, just BANG! BANG! BANG!
  6. Anyone need a kydex OWB holster for a G21???? Up to the first PM Oh it also fits the SF model, but not the one with the 1913 rail, that makes it a tad too tight for a quick draw
  7. I go strictly kydex or a combo for my glocks, but i just got a done hume leasether holster with great retention that i'm using now and am happy with. it's a matter of what you like best.

    Shotgun as gift

ok, we'll go looking together, i'll just do the tics myself as i woulda paid it anyway, then give it to hi mwrapped up at home. thanks guys!
  9. Cheatham WMA is IMHO the best bet for doing things RSOs might have issues with. as long as you're safe you're good to go.
  10. If I'm buying my cousin a shotgun as a gift and want to take him to pick it out, it seems like if he picks it and runs through tics, then i pay with my card, we're okay right? or do i need to go through and pay for a tics for myself as well? i don't want suspiscion of a straw sale, but i want to spend as little as possible. Anyone able to enlighten me? Any dealers have any input on one guy paying for another gyus's gun? I am kinda wary of buying it in my name then just giving it to him and that looking like a straw sale.
  11. so i'm still wondering how they know who bought what guns.....illegal checks of 4473s maybe? or is there anouther route they could've taken? i know california wouldn't be tough lol, but the rest of the border states? really?
  12. My first pistol, a Jennings/bryco .22 with a euro mag release. good god i sold it quickly, for forty bucks at that! also i can't stand shooting snubbie wheelguns in .37 with standard grips. talk about paion...they're fine with wraparound grips and .38 rounds in them.
  13. alternatint .45lc and 00buck seems to work. less chance of collaterall damage and you have spread if you need it.
  14. yeah, i saw it on a bridge by mygrandnmas for years, i've alway wondered why other comple don't stopl it's not exalctly hare to not now i know. but it's a damn shame. but we're FAMOUS LOL!!!

    22lr Handgun

well, it depends on the use. i carriy a beretta .22 bobcat, when i have to deep conceal, for up close and personcal, (felmoroal artery), otherwise i've got a ruger MK3 for plinking and trainint. i love both, but if i ad to get rid of it i'd stick with the MK3.
  17. I had a 638 with the recessed hammer (sa/da yet no typical hammer spur to snag). It was a great pocket gun, and I'd highly recommend it. I'm also familiar with the 637 and 442, and both are fine weapons. All the snubbies like that in .38 aren't really range guns, they hurt after a while and aren't much good beyond 25 yards for accuracy. their great for carry though - quick and easy pocket guns, and if it doesn't go boom the first trigger pull, just keep sqeezing, unlike having to tell a BG to hang onwhile you clear a jam lol.
  18. I carried a G21 for quite some time with no problem. and it's a great range gun. havefun.
  19. Why? because of the gun or the caliber? I know some people have had issues with certain ammo in the Bobcats, but this one functioned perfectly for the few mags I put through it. I'd just like to know why you say that.
  20. I've just picked up a little .22 Beretta Bobcat that I'm wanting to have as a BUG and also as a little pocket pistol for the warm days I'm unable to conceal my usual G21. I know no .22 ammo is great ballistically unless it's gonna bounce around inside a BG and do damage that way, but I'm wanting to keep the best that I can in the gun. What recommendations do you guys have for ammo to load it with? I'm going to pick up some mini mags and some hornaday vmax stuff today to try out and then go from there. It's also possible that I'll get rid of this gun if necessary and get a .380 keltec pocket gun, I just like how small this is and the capacity for its size.
  21. Congrats on a nice purchase. I bet you'll be happier with it once you put a few through it though
  22. If you're up for a road trip the Reloaders Bench and Franklin Gun Shop stock it in the Nashville area.
