  1. beautiful weapon sir!
  2. And I need a second one lol. Not to knock you for being out of work, but it seems like whatever I make I could always use more. However, I do see a new AK in my near future.
  3. Yeah, chalk one more up for a reasonable range in brentwood with after work hours. i've gotten into going to gun city usa in the evenings and to cheatham wma on weekends. it's far but definitely worth the drive. sometimes cheatham is totally empty except for me or me and my buddies.
  4. Yes, please elaborate. Here's yet another gun I'm intrigued by but I'm now wondering what issues they're having.
  5. Wow, one more great looking fun I'd love to own. And looking around, you're right, the prices have gone up noticably. I wish i had the cash to throw at one right now
  6. I've got XS big dots on my G21 and love them. fast acquisition, faster than any others, and quicker to get back on target too. I can't hype them enough, they're great.
  7. lol^^^ And yeah, springs are worn by compressing and decompressing. There's no reason not to keep your mags loaded, your slide locked forward, and your gun ready to go.
  8. you'll have to serialize your lower and it is what is registered as the sbr. the upper is then just a part of the rifle, the registered lower 'is' the rifle in the ATF's eyes.
  9. glock 21 remington 700 in .308 remington 870 in 12gauge ar-15 and any revolver that covers my bases.

    my new toy.

Wow, beautiful pistol. I envy you sir!
  11. i'd say look into a kahr 9mm if you're alright with that, otherwise there are plenty of good suggestions. hit a gun shop and handle them all.
  12. Smith and Wesson model 638 bodyguard. it had a recessed snag proof hammer so it was a perfect blend of a 642's inability to snag and i still had the option of SA if i wanted a smooth shot. bought for ~300, sold for 400. now i regret it and haven't found another one for under 500ish.
  13. hey, quick question - is simunition available to the public or is it an LE/military only thing?
  14. agreed. that's outrageous. i shoot in cheatham county, and wouldn't want problems after i have a can and or an sbr. the whole thing is ludicrous.
  15. wow...i'm glad to learn from his mistake though. i never thought they'd aggressively prosecute these, but better safe than sorry i say.
  16. interesting. i've never heard of these, much less seen one. i just recently found out daewoo made stuff other than cheap radios....cars, and now guns! wow,
  17. so true. and now i'm wondering if i should get one for fun rather than a new upper for an ar build...
  18. wow, that's great. i'm needing another upper so i might take them up. thanks!
  19. yep, started with a glock 21sf after i got my permit and although i was a tad nervous, i carried with one chambered but was careful holstering and unholstering to avoid an AD with no safety.

    Zombie eraser.

just be glad vampires aren't a real threat. it'd cost quite a bit to load 19 mags full of silver 5.56. hell, even that much lead is expensive, but at least it works on zombies,
  21. dunno about the cashier. the guys behind the gun counter are always cool with me. i had a friend who worked there in high school and i can't imagine her being the least bit unfriendly. i'll have to pay more attention next time i'm in there.
  22. I go in there from time to time for various things and to see if they have a gun i'm looking for to handle. Their prices are generally on the high side IMO and I don't see them with the new guns I see coming into other stores. But it's the place my dad always went growing up so it's got a soft spot in my heart and I keep going to see what they have and pick up random things.
  23. Thanks a bunch!! Anyone need 9mm snap caps? i can send 4 out free of charge.
  24. Oh, BTW, after using them a few times I notice a dent like I would see in a primer. so I assume theyre made of the same material or maybe something softer? Wouldn't that add wear to the firing pin itself versus it going into an empty barrel? Or is it the firing pin spring I'm saving wear on this way? I'm confoozled!
  25. bump out of curiosity and oh, we cant delete our own posts it seems. crapola.
