You don't look 5'10" and 180 in the pic... And I'm 5'10" 165 and can conceal fullsize glocks and xds, so I know it's possible with an M&P. I don't know how much thinner they are, but they sure felt skinny in my hand at the store.

Well, after several hundred rounds through it and ignoring my other pistols I am getting used to it, more than I thought. I just was at the range the other day shooting a couple of my buddy's guns, a sig and a 1911, and those triggers didn't quite feel the same now ,so I bet I'm getting used to it without it being conscious. I know I've improved my accuracy to keeping 26 rounds all inside the rings at 25 yards, and at least half in the black, so that's getting better as well. What can I say, it's a change. I'm getting better about snapping it when it stops right before the break, that's likely what had me pulling to the right. In a perfect world I wouldn't ever know when it would break and I'd squeeze evenly all the time. But I am enjoying the short reset as paimei pointed out.

How did you shape the kydex? is it done with heat, or what? I assume you made it from a sheet of the stuff?? It looks nice, I'm curious why they're not made by more people if it's that easy.

Wow, that's a helluva lever gun right there. All my grampa left me was a lever .22 and a couple shotguns. although the shotguns are really nice hough, so i gues it's okay. but yeah, nice rifle.

^^Yeah, I'm looking into classes to take for more advanced shooting than just the HCP class was. I shoot as much as I can, and have considered shooting sports but was kind of thinking I'd like to shoot better before entering a comp so I don't suck I need to do some research on competitive shooting now.

Hopefully mine's alright. 1-2 more weeks and I'l be golden, get my permit. So they sent you this letter??? Never heard of that before, include your phone number on all subsequent stuff. JMHO.

yeah, i've put about 800rds through it and practiced draw and fire, draw form concealment and fire, double and triple taps, and more. i'm not a bad shot with the stock trigger (at least not bad for me, i can group under 2" at 15yds slow fire, all in the 8, 9, 10 quick fire of 14-27[2 mags, one in tube - fire one mag, drop, lad, fire other asap] rds into three targets while running ) but i want to get better. any other suggestios?

Yeah, and after some thought, I understand that. I just don't get why people with assault and dom. violence charges can get tehm reduced/expunged and get a HCP. I see this crap happen five days a week at work where DUIs are considered worse than violent offenses for what I believe are political reasons. edit: and it pisses me off more than it should, probably.

Don't like the sound of the guy, but hell, a nice indoor range close to home would be great.

Wait, I'm not at all saying i condone or excuse drinking and driving. I'm just saying I know the guy and don't see him as a drunk or irresponsible and trust him completely, so I don't see why he shouldn't be able to carry. I know this is one person and can't apply to everyone, I think the laws address that by blanketing it all. I totally agree with phantom about drinking and driving, I certainly think booze and guns are a bad mix. I just ain't so sure one DUI makes a habitual, dangerous drunk, ya know? Two, three, ten - that is habitual to me, not one that happened one night where a guy blows a .08 and still can function as a productive member of society. I know I sound bad, and am playing devil's advocate a bit, so take it with a grain or ten of salt . ah, i'm not a military guy so I had no idea of that. actually it was lol, a criminal charge and i lose my job, and won't get my permit, and lose other rights I don't want to lose, so I make the best choices I can. DoubleafterSplit, Canynracer, and a couple others I think see what I'm trying to say. I've never been hit by a drunk driver or had a friend killed by one, so the emotional aspect is out the window. I'm more thinking about the practicalities of the law. As Doubleaftersplit pointed out, other crimes can be expunged but not DUI, and those folks can have permits. I'd much rather have a guy with one DUI carrying than aguy who has multiple assault or domestic violence charges that were 'taken care of'. JMHO

Sling, I've already got aftermarket sights, XS big dots. Accuracy is part of the concern but not primary, I really just would like the trigger to feel better. And if I'm stuck with it or it'll cost a ton, I'll leave it alone, since I love it otherwise.

I'm contemplating replacing the connector on my Glock with a ghost 3.5# or similar. I haven't had a chance to feel the difference, but My main concern isn't even the pull of the Glock, it's that it's light for most of the pull movement and then suddenly heavy where it breaks. I want something that doesn't encourage me to snap my finger back and jerk the gun, even if it's just a tiny movement it's keeping me from rouping I want. so is there any option here, or am I stuck with the way it is, only able to adjust the weight? I'm seriously lacking in knowledge on this, so I appreciate input.
