The 64 was way ahead of the game.. Crazy how things work out like they do.. When I heard they came out with the classic I searched high and low for a 7mm.. Found one at BPS in Springfield MO. Was there for the fall fest they have each year.. Me, being me and not thinking outside my blinders should had gotten the only two they had..  Kick in the ass, the other was a .308.. Me!! being Me!! said to myself, "Self, you dont need two .308"s" Its a moment i still look back on.. I personally know of no one else with a classic..

I'm guessing a few of you have one or six.. Mine are on the short list (dont mess with) .. I say mine, my niece and daughter will have run of the mill one day.. .308 feather weight, 264 win mag., 300 HH mag, Not worth as much but important to me is my model 70 classic in 7mm mag. Any other pre 64 enthusiast out there?

It's political hipe.. I wont get into a race issue about children being killed by gun violence (none what so ever diserve being assaulted by any weapon)   But let me say this.. it took a mass shooting in a prodomitaly white school for the president to take action (as he has done) on gun control..(apelling to the masses? maybe??) The numbers above speek for themself.. Chicago is leading the way, but look at Memphis.. Its no better!! Now lets do the math on who is killing who??? 

Crap the gun manufactures are getting a piece of the action to.. I cant win for losing!!! Guess its like everything else.. You gotta play to win, and pay to play!! Thanks for the info..

Agreeing with glock 55, why in the hel_ is the US government allowed to dictate what my child learns in school?? (are we really free) ,,  sounding like issues that have been addressed in the past?? Lets say 1919 when Hitle... Never mind, I will end up in a cussing tirade that would get me baned from TGO.. Sorry but this issue really burns my as_ (BUTT)!!!!!!      

A crying shame!! And that was in Texas I think they said..  I bet I could guess who he voted for.... The funny thing was when the teacher started crawfishing (walking backwards) when confronted by the mom.. And WOW what a mom!! Easy on the eyes and likes guns..  

Due to me not being able to leave my weapons in the safe, I'm running low on Long Gun sporting ammo... But starting to see a little more show up around my area.. Just before the big scare I was able to find .40 and .380 CCI for a good price @ MPW and bought up several hundred rounds.. The good news is that the Horders are starting to run low on funds and their first of the month bills have showed up in the mail box.. Our Public Utilities around here prefer cash over brass and lead..  

Its the same here in west TN.. I was at a shop the other day that had a wall FULL of sporting rifles.. After seeing the pricing i knew why the wall was full.. They did have a Springfield M14 that was SWEET, didn't even ask what they wanted for it.. And about the scissors, dont waste the money!! When it takes a FFL to possess ammo we can all use our long guns like ball bat"s. And in response to a few other statements in this thread, anyone reckon they will ban NASCAR.. If we can save just one innocent person isn't it our duty to do so.. (typed with a hint of sarcasm and with all due respect to the people and families that have lost loved one due to a senseless shooting) Any WHoo! Carry on gentlemen.. 

Thanks for the welcomes.. So far seems like a good place to hang out.. Didn't take long to figure out TGO has the same trouble as every other forum on the web.. It has its WWW badasses and at times it dont take long to end up in Iran after getting hijacked on your flight to Amsterdam.. But I have read a lot of good information so far.. For the most part the views about the current situations going on worldwide are in line with what i believe to be the truth..

I thought the same thing im getting it local for less money, didn't order any just put it out there for an fyi.. I did indeed get some of the .223,  im flat out. Other than some TAP but I aint gonna shoot that at beer cans..

Hello all,   I'm an avid hunter and firearm enthusiast. My taste range from squirrels - ducks and 22's - 1919's. If it goes BANG than I'm interested. I stumbled across this site while searching the www for deals on guns. For what little i have searched around, this seems like a good site. Looking forward to gaining some knowledge or burning braincells lurking around. I do know how to use the search feature if i have a question but at times its faster to just ask it again in a new thread. So i will apologize up front the newbie mistakes. Not sure what else to type..
