Are you know questioning his genetalia? There is something wrong with that. Musketballs.....

I will admit that I am a little out of touch but this just seems very strange to me.
I take my pants and shirt off and my buddy takes his shirt off and throws money on me and "washes" me with it?
I think not.

Quite Nice - And I don't care where you put it just quit putting your dusseldorf on the blow hole.

I went to Jackson to get mine 5 years ago. Was in and out in no time.
Next time I will go to Oakland as it is closer.

Classic. Almost as good as the corvette test drive that ended up totalling the car. I saw that on World's Worst Drivers one night.

You did a wonderful thing.
My wife is actually starting to talk about getting her permit.
She was waiting for the kids to get a little older and keep out of her purse.

It's too far away or I would say if it happened to show up on my street with out a collar my wife would take it in.

Tomato tomatoe- I am entitled to my opinion just like anyone else.

I take issue with that comment. I happen to be an out of work potographer because of the new trend of 'good enough'. And your niece is a 'photographer'. And the kid three doors down from you is a 'photographer'. And so is the guy/girl who waits on you at (insert restaurant name here). Everyone is now a 'photographer'.
Anything can be a hobby to one person and a skill or trade to another.
I have a very nice pen, that doesn't make me a writer. I have some very nice pots, that doesn't make me a chef. I have a floor jack, that doesn't make me a mechanic. I can pick a lock in a few seconds, that doesn't make me a thief.
That's okay - I am a photographer by hobby. I am studying and hoping to build my skills at it.
Sorry you are out of work with it but for many it is still a hobby.
Many hobbies require skills, many skills are not hobbies.

Yes, I mean the Tyvek house wrap. Not plastic.
As for the house "breathing" it is stifled now because of the EIFS.

Welcome and Memphis has way too many non-quality Bar-B-Que that think they are - Neely's, Corky's, Interstate - Nope
Germantown Commissary has the best!!!

lock picking is not exactly a hobby it is a skill. A hobby would be photography.
You want a good cheap hobby? How about jogging. It is free and can get you in shape.
Or nature walks, bird watching etc.

Exactly, Batman, the insurance companies see a lot of people under the age of 21 causing accidents, speeding etc. This leads them to telling the car rental companies that they will not cover anyone under the age of 21 driving the vehicle.
Does it stink - Yup, but that is the way the game is played.
Him with the money makes the rules.

I agree that soldiers deserve the utmost respect but in all honesty it would be making "special" concessions for the car agencies to allow a military person to rent a car under the age of 21 but won't allow anyone else under the age of 21.
It has nothing to do with the fact that they are in the service. It is because of their ages.
In case you didn't know, they can't drink off base either.
Sorry. It sucks but then again, for a few dollars they can fly to Germany and stay in the BEQ and party till dawn.
You and I cannot do that.

Here's a tip, how about we do away with parole. You serve the maximum regardless of the crime....
Wouldn't that go a lot farther to actually deterring crime? If you are caught you go to jail for a predefined amount of time. Judges have no leeway as to shortening sentences. The only one that could do that is the governor. You better hope he likes you.
As for Anti-Freeze - it sucks that they manufacturers have to have legislation to do this. Don't you think it would be a good advertising for BrandX to state that animals are less likely to drink their anti-freeze.

Seriously - take any job you can find. Fed Ex - UPS - Kroger - as long as the money is coming in it is a lot easier to find a new job.

I stay away from major renovations, ever seen renovation nightmares on HGTV?
Seen it - I don't mind - I always end up on top and usually close to budget.
Our last house was built in 1936 and had to have a lot done to it.
Our recent hose was built in the 80's however it has synthetic stucco which I will never purchase again.
I am pretty handy and used to work construction though it was commercial.

Have you been to WalMart lately - almost every time I am in there (which isn't often) I look at the wife and say
AWESOME!!!!
-
I have found a new home page!!!

Ah, I make it up as I go along. Skills are something acquired by buying older homes and fixing them up.
Let me know if you need any help.
And just think, I am a computer geek by trade.

$70 for a gasket that you can take back if it doesn't fix the problem vs several hundred $'s for a new one.
Then again, SEARS will come out and check it for you
for a price.
-
Hey, a new stove is a good reason to remodel the kitchen. That's what I always say and that WILL stimulate the economy.

State sovereignty. They want it they got they pay for it. Let them legalize marijuana and tax it and let all the pot smokers move there. Would sure cut down on some of that gang problem.
Computer help, please

If the drive is spinning it should be read. You can right click on My Computer and go to Manage. Once there go to Disk Management. You should see the drive listed there. If you do not you should also check the Device Manager (also under Management) are there any items that have a yellow ! on them? This would indicate a device that has not loaded correctly.
If the drive is truly spinning then it should show in one of these two places it may simply be configured as a drive letter that you already have enabled (happens frequently with jump drives on network computers.)
If you have a Windows Vista DVD you can repair the installation which should leave files in tact. When you boot to the DVD and start setup it should detect that Windows is already installed and prompt you to repair.
Alternatively you could upgrade to Windows 7 since it is "all the rage"
Before doing either of those see if it will boot to Safe Mode (hold down F8 while computer is booting).
If safe mode works then there is a driver or process that is causing the problem.
Try launching System Restore by launching MSCONFIG and clicking on System Restore and choosing a date with a restore point when the computer worked.
If that is successful you will be back and running in no time. Otherwise you will have to go the repair route.
