  6. Love sig, I carry a hk, sold a sig to a good friend of mine 226 in 40 cal for his carry weapon and he loves it. But if we are talking zombies took over the earth type thing I would have to say glock for one very simple reason, sig uses a small spring for trigger reset if it breaks you are out of the fight. The glock uses the slide to reset the trigger and I have never spoke to any one that has had a glock not reset the trigger. Ohh and glocks are like uzi's they pretty much eat what ever you feed them. Even ammo with rust on the cases.
  7. I have to suggest a LE dealer as they keep small parts in stock I do not have a spring cup in or I would over night you a set. Just for reference glock does not suggest tearing the striker down unless there is a problem, when I went through armorers school they made us do it but it was if you have to replace the striker due to damage type thing. They also make different weight springs for the striker but only sell one weight in the U.S. and the spring cups are a pain in the tail if you have fat fingers like me

  14. Fact 1: glock has a 100 meter range in Smyrna you don't do that for hand guns Fact 2: glock makes guns with a frame mounted safety sold else where in the world Fact 3: USA made glocks are not made for US sales, I know they wind up in our market, but they are meant for sales to governments that will not allow Austrian made guns in, just like no Chinese guns here
  15. Ammo if stored at a climate you are comfy in will be fine. And for silica pacs you can make them out of silica cat litter and pantyhose and you can recharge them
