  1. Methinks that's about it. I've never heard of any others, and the indoor range is, you know, indoors. - OS
  2. Maybe, but it's pretty clear that it's designed to have the tub sides as containment/support. - OS
  3. McGarlets. I've caught a few little 2-3 foot skinny ones in my youth, and had a hefty 6 footer get off near the boat after a long fight (he was foul hooked). I've never tried to eat one, but have been told they aren't bad. Very bony like carp. Guy told me once he cut them into steaks and smoked them, like some do northern pike. The guys that grapple hook for spoonbills below the dams get big ones that way sometimes. - OS
  4. Yep, it's plastic, but, I've shot the XD 45 service, really sweet. The 45 compact is only different as to smaller grip/capacity, but 10+1 plus a 13 round backup is nothing to sneeze at in a rock solid performer! - OS
  5. Oh Shoot

    heaven joke

It's the age-old "masturbation meter" joke in another guise. - OS
  6. Well, that 55 gal can will weigh over 450 lbs, so you still ain't moving it out of the tub! - OS
  7. No way. That guy is skinny. Could be the "This Thread" guy, though. - OS
  8. I trust in God more than I do in the future value of American currency - and I'm an agnostic! - OS
  9. Maybe so, but I can't see shipping costs unless I actually enter billing info. I HATE that. - OS
  10. Successfully! I made audible chuckle. Rare. - OS
  11. Ancient processed chicken, that is. - OS
  12. Bounces off. Eyeball is the only way in. - OS
  13. I know my ammo Mikey, having been raised in a munitions factory by Bulgarian hand loaders. Thus, I know posilutely that 9mm bullets are actually made of armadillo plate, but .25 is from pussie cat cartilage. - OS edit: forum PC language filter wouldn't let me spell "pussie" the correct way !
  14. That's pretty much true, ancient species. - OS
  15. Oh, then I'm sure you are right. Certainly much easier and cheaper for an Asian restaurant to use rabbit or cat than chicken for their chicken. I wasn't thinking clearly. - OS
  16. Well, rabbit would cost a helluva lot more than chicken. Cat could be "free". But I'd wager your taste is not as discriminating as you claim, and it was simply chicken. Ground up and reconstituted chicken parts, as is large part of the chicken consumed in US. You could, of course contact your local Dept. of Health and request an inspection/investigation if you want to bet on your taste buds. - OS
  17. Magic, I bought my 870 Express Synthetic for $295 back in the summer...from BendMeOverGanderMountain, no less! Quick search first hits show $310 - 330 online, maybe crept up a bit, dunno. - OS
  18. Short barrel, mag extension, maybe a light, shell holder. Instant tactical. Lots of other tacticool options. Me, I'd keep yours intact as is for hunting and backup zombie eradication and just buy a $300 870 Express Synthetic or similar, voila! - OS
  19. Naw, Wolf wasn't there, was Bernard Shaw and Peter Arnett actually in that Baghdad hotel. NOTE: just researched, Wolf didn't come aboard CNN till '91, and there was a third CNN guy in the Baghdad hotel (the al-Rashid), was John Holliman. - OS
  20. Common misconception. She had a permit (don't know what kind) many years ago for about a year due to some specific threats from a certain group. As a matter of fact, a bomb was planted in her home. Turned it (and the gun) in after the situation passed that she got it for. I don't know anything about her being a "special deputy marshal", maybe that's how she was able to carry at the time, as this happened in the 70's, before anybody could carry in any state, as far as I know. Certainly NOT "defending" her, and she IS anti-gun. But the facts always get "word of mouth" distorted in regard to this. - OS
  21. Well, that makes one of us. I want something smaller than a breadbox that will actually fire at least every other time. I guess you're speaking aesthetics. It's really a super grip for the recoil, and absolutely none of the popular alternatives conceal as well. The little wood inserts I added to mine make it purty enough for moi. - OS
  22. You think a perp will be more impressed with a Gemini job as he looks down the business end? - OS
