  1. Biggest limitation for me, and reason I haven't done some, is lack of being able embed images in body of the review. But I'm kinda "web page" oriented on wanting to format. - OS
  2. One of the Really Bad things about it is not being able to use images within the body of the ad via the tag method. Also, I guess the feedback thing is directly tied to the Classified module, no way to preserve it standalone, eh? The feedback thing is really the only thing I might like to see preserved. Then again, I guess if somebody is really a ripoff artist, they'd get nuked in fairly short time regardless.... - OS
  3. 19.97 + 1.85 tax + .10 ammo fee = 21.9 cents per round, but who's counting? Their Blazer Brass comes out to just under .20/round. I haven't seen either in a month at the two Wallies I frequent the most. - OS
  4. Ah, they've removed the local number, only the toll-free one shown now onsite, I see. Used to be they often didn't answer the toll-free one, but did the local. - OS
  5. Same fellow as discussed here...I think his eBay price is the same for the basic one... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/firearm-accessories/18596-wow-awesome-inside-waistband-affordable.html The basic one does NOT have leather between gun and your body, which would be a no-go for me, however you can add the "sweat shield" for extra. - OS
  6. I think you'll be quite pleased... Be sure to give your review, pix. - Sooty
  7. Doesn't cover trigger. Would be a big no go for moi. - OS
  8. Well, hell...I didn't have anything to add to this thread, till you issued that challenge! - OS
  9. I actually have a TT on order. 3.5-4 months wait, though... My Bullards are VERY nice, and QUITE adequate for the rest of my days, I'm sure, but there is one feature not really offered, and I wanted to try one from Tim. - OS
  10. IMO, yeah. In general the more expensive models of Hume and Galco are better made, more custom fitted for individual guns than the cheaper "entry grade" ones. Bianchi much the same, I think. - OS
  11. I'm a poor all around shot, so it's difficult to tell , but I seem to be a little more accurate with XD 4" 9mm than with my EDC, XD 3". It would be logical to think so, anyway... Doesn't much matter at 7 yards, though. - OS

I'd like to fire a mag's worth... I'll have some 9mm to feed it...will also bring MY Hi-Point (the 9mm carbine) and will have my EDC XD SC 9 too. - OS
  14. +1 (see avatar) He makes both IWB and OWB for all the guns you mentioned. - OS
  15. One word: Rohrbaugh Oh yeah, one other word: Expensive. - OS

Well, you've certainly scored some esoteric carry pieces last couple of shows...Belgian, Hungarian. You've also got a Croatian piece. Sure you actually want something made in 'Merica? - OS

You said you wanted one to CARRY! Hence my attempts at intervention. - OS
  18. Yup. I'm an equal opportunity shopper; price+shipping/stocking determine who gets my money, not ideology. I haven't bought any ammo from CTD in a good long while, have no AR/AK needs, have bought handgun mags elsewhere, but have bought some other items from CTD. I don't think that Sun Myung Moon is the Messiah, but I own a pricey Kahr. Bill's former hicap magazine stand notwithstanding, I own two Ruger products. Heck, I probably even own some stuff made by homosexuals, atheists, and Democrats. - OS
  19. Most squeaks I hear are self-generated, never have heard my Beltman make one. Helluva product, all aces. - OS
  20. 'Bout same here (Comcast)... periodic 15-120 sec delays on page views. Been pretty much same since server move...actually, was pretty much thus before the move. - OS
  21. I've ordered from georgia arms, even though it'll take 6 weeks or more. AmmunitionToGo is only a week or so... Cabela's also has had good bit of 9mm in stock. Unless you find at WalMart, the days of .20/round 9mm are gone. Heck, the only bulk .22 I've found in some time is at Dick's. $20/500 instead of $12-14 like 3 months ago. - OS

Ah, you haven't held the Hi-Point 9mm compact model. Holds a whopping 8+1 rounds and is only twice as big as my XD subcompact (which holds 13+1). Weighs somewhat less than a moped now, too. But I think I DO want one. Good to put in neighbor's hand during the upcoming Zombie Apocalypse. Or good to hand over to Eric Holder when he comes knocking. "Honestly, sir, it's my only firearm." - OS
  23. Voluntary gun registration is simply non-existent also. - OS
  24. Is there an echo in here? What did you mean? - OS
  25. Hence the "." in front of 410. Yeah, "four-ten gauge" is a misnomer. - OS
