  1. Well, you'll never catch me dissing David Bullard's stuff, that's for sure . (see avatar) And those "wallet type" are cool if that's how ya like to carry. I just think THINNER the BETTER for pocket carry. I tried several before settling on this: - OS
  2. Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm sure you're right, that's the reason. - OS
  3. Yeah, made little sense to me either ... glad you wrote the long version/questions. - OS
  4. Just a followup, got my 1100 hollow point rounds today, but not the ball; I see on GA site, "out of components" for that, so who knows when. - OS
  5. If you want the very thinnest, which certainly is logical for pocket carry, get one made of kydex, rather than the Nemesis or leather models. David, our host, has recently raved about Aholster, you might give them a look: Welcome to Aholster I'm a total leather fan for IWB/OWB carry, but I also have a kydex pocket holster for my Kahr, made by Stellar Rigs. They have several options for the LCP, including one model that holds extra mag also: Stellar Rigs (Holsters & Custom Rigs) - OS

Not even in the ballpark of carrying at a posted location, as you suggest. Indeed, it would be perfectly okay for me to carry a gun to visit you in your "no firearms allowed" leased apartment, assuming the apartment building is not posted compliant to TCA, and not being a resident, I signed no lease agreement. You, as a resident, would not be in violation of the "posted property" statute either, only in violation of the lease agreement. - OS
  7. Far as I know, law hasn't changed on that since I was a kid. It's just that things used to be a lot looser in this country. Especially IN the country. Now, they are as likely to be stolen before a LEO might say anything. - OS
  8. Did you order extra recoil springs for the Rohrbaugh? (change every 150 rounds, isn't it?) - OS
  9. Exactly... Any kind of "rifled" slug is what you want from smooth bore. Plus, those are generally considerably cheaper than "sabot" slugs. - OS
  10. Several will do it, but no freebies I know of. - OS
  11. That IS odd...what browser? Can you see images with EITHER Firefox or Internet Explorer? - OS
  12. Strick, to clarify - you copied/pasted the LINK to the image, which of course works. You didn't copy/paste the image itself. - OS
  13. Or, assuming you keep daily inventory on any kind of computer program, spreadsheet type or whatever, as long as it shows a list, you could simply make a daily PDF file and replace daily. You can print a PDF from any program with the excellent free version of Primo PDF, if your program doesn't export PDF naturally. - OS
  14. Rumor? Dood, it's TRUE. I know because as of your post, I have now read it on the InterWebBlogNet thing. - OS
  15. You mean you can't see ANYBODY's pic from PhotoBucket, or just the ones YOU'VE uploaded? If only yours, then you have somehow managed to copy the link from your own computer (//C:/whatever), instead of from photobucket.com/ You WOULD be able to see the pix on that particular puter only if it's linking to THAT computer's hard drive. A photobucket link looks like this: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w68/tnmale46/P1010550.jpg That makes a clickable link TO the image. To make it appear here, you'd use the icon and paste the above link in the dialog box that appears. Maybe that helps? - OS
  16. Well, THAT certainly won't work, Strick... You can't copy an image directly into forum...the forum doesn't store images. - OS
  17. Ah, okay...I figured there was SOME basis for the hoot... Just finished watching Apocalypto for about the fifth time, so now along with your explanation, I can get some sleep. - OS
  18. What are YOU talking about, really? What punctured your delicate hide? - OS
  19. I hurt my finger racking Bubbiesdad's wee BobCat. Does that count, since it drew blood? - OS
  20. Should just do it online. That has never failed me. Although First Tn has certainly pulled some hinky stuff on me through the years. - OS

Oh, meaning you stiffed them for the rest of the lease period. Yeah, I guess I could see that... - OS
  22. I personally know one of the best criminal lawyers around, Randy Reagan. randallreagan.com However, I myself don't see the value of an order of protection against someone you've never physically met, or who has as I understand not made any physical threat? Or even if a judge would grant one? But of course, he's the lawyer not moi. - OS
  23. Yeah, site still says "5-7 weeks". I was kinda surprised so quick. Getting 1000 of the +p 124 grain Gold Dot to rathole, plus 100 extra to run through guns to test, and 500 of the Canned Heat for range. - OS
  24. Dang. No wonder there's a gun shortage. You and Mike .357 buy them all! - OS
  25. That WAS a nifty looking shootin iron...I meant to ask to fire a few before I left Sat, but forgot. - OS
