  1. Maybe they weren't really cops. Some of these wannabe ninjas get pretty decked out. - OS
  2. Ah, nice breath of fresh air ... and dat's de trooth. - OS
  3. Yah...east (Kingston Pike) side of Watt Rd exit...follow frontage road maybe a thousand yards, on the right. Part of G & A Equipment Company, where the high lifts are. 865-223-3117 - OS
  4. Everybody ought to be married a couple times or more...builds character. Or at least help makes you one. - OS
  5. Fortunately it wasn't a .45, for as we all know, would have taken his whole leg off, plus the shock wave would have flattened all the kids in the front row. - OS
  6. Hey, one serious thing though... You carry a 4" fixed blade knife openly in sheath, even though it's legal, don't be surprised if you get some LEO attention at some point. Just like you might at any time open carrying your pistola. A 4" fixed blade knife, especially a wide blade one with a hefty handle, can look pretty darn BIG. - OS
  7. Yeah, I guess you've bought one of about everything made now! - OS
  8. If the second worst think ever happens, I have my terse statement all ready: "Mike .357 shot him, and he wants an attorney present for his statement." - OS
  9. Yeah, I found Garell to be very pleasant fellow. Didja notice if he still had a full hammer Ruger SP101? - OS
  10. Again, AFAIK, you can just neatly write it with Sharpie or whatever. I used to carry handwritten ones when I was a FedEx Ground guy; lots of things are ORM-D, not just ammo. Worst case, just take your package in, and absolute worst, they give you a label or make you redo it.... If I'm wrong on any of this, please repost ... but I don't think you'll have any probs. Sending firearms is another matter, as neither FedEx or UPS will necessarily live up to their own printed rules! - OS
  11. Bro, they can SEARCH your boat in most any port in the world. Hell, I've been checked in a 14' open fishing boat for this and that by Florida Marine Patrol numerous times, and actually SEARCHED twice. (Long before HCP). Once I was well past 7 mile limit, too, but that didn't faze them. - OS
  12. Us? You got a chipmunk in yer pocket? Oh "looks just like a penis, only smaller" Shoot
  13. Yah, it wasn't all that sporting the way you took them out. Little finger-held crossbows probably a lot more effective than lobbing pebbles with small trebuchet, though. - OS
  14. You can ship ammo via Fedex Ground or UPS Ground. It only has to have prominent marking (not on shipping label, but on side of package) saying: ORM-D Small Arms Ammunition I'm pretty sure there is no additional paperwork necessary. I don't think you can send via USPS at all, but not 100% sure about that. Just pack the individual ammo boxes in a sturdy box with as little wasted space as possible, pack chips or paper in the unused space tightly, and tape the crap out of it so that everything holds together. - OS
  15. Back out while you can, pilgrim. After all, you need to keep constant watch for the gummit guys, eh? - OS
  16. Slight but important correction: can be 4 inches, but not longer. - OS
  17. Well, a holster that covers the barrel would seem to stop that, eh? On the other hand, a carry gun is not a safe queen gun. But on the third hand, seems as your specific wear issue could be solved with a different holster. - OS
  18. Your criticism of an obviously erudite and articulate member's vocabulary is positively, well, disingenuous. Actually, he gave you much too much credit with the word, as it implies a measure of art and wit to one described as such. Oh "you can look up erudite now" Shoot
  19. Souter has been as liberal as any Dem appointed justice. He voted against Heller, your lovely Bush Sr. appointed justice did. So shouldn't make a lot of diff, at least on gun control issues, who replaces him. - OS
  20. Because you've put a link to your own computer, probably. We're not allowed in there, and you should be quite glad of that fact. - OS
  21. Why would they have downgraded it from something lethal? - OS
  22. Congrats and thanks for your service to America. But I think it's ironic you see it as a "long road", since you are only 21. - OS
  23. Don't see why you can't post it. - OS
  24. May be... Name is Lee Paige. The incident happened in 2004, he sued US gummit over it. DEA Agent Who Shot Self In Foot Sues Uncle Sam - April 11, 2006 Can't really find any info on him or the suit since '06, but didn't search long. - OS
