  1. It's a Class A misdemeanor. Same as DUI. Yes, you could be be arrested or a citation issued and you released; up to the officer generally. Carrying in a properly posted business is only a Class C misdemeanor. - OS
  2. - You might be with other people who picked the place, if a restaurant. - The store might have something you can't easily get anywhere else, or get anywhere else at all. - It's a long way back to the car, or you're on foot. - You know the sign is likely a corporate decision and not the store operator's decision. - You didn't even notice the sign. - You don't really give a good goldurn. - OS
  3. Hot Damn! Good for you! Yeah, well, that oughtta be a lesser prob. At least you can work on it in the open.- OS
  4. Well, it's Wed. Didja get extractor tool? Did it work? - OS
  5. Thread you responded to is a year old, JFYI. - OS
  6. I prolly did mention it and Crossbreed as the most popular leather/kydex options. - OS
  7. Wasn't me, bro. I'm not into Kydex, save for a pocket holster I have for Kahr. - OS
  8. Well, there are lots of variables here. Lots of different size nukes. Two or three likely wouldn't cause nuclear winter doomsday scenario. But of course it would be insanity to experiment. Then again, if an upstart nuclear power, N. Korea, Iran, even Pakistan under control of Taliban rebels, were to unleash one, I think the only question would be WHO would retaliate and with WHAT. It might well be an international decision among the other nuclear powers, but I would expect a nuclear reprisal. There are probably some other options that we don't even know about. I wonder if we still have the neutron bomb ready to go, for instance? Who knows what other stuff we (and Russia/China/Israel) actually have. - OS
  9. Before new law: long guns must be unloaded, ammo not in "immediate vicinity" of gun. Same for anyone, resident, non-resident, having HCP no different. After new law: HCP holders may have loaded long guns in vehicle, or of course, ammo right there with gun. Although no shell in chamber. I assume that non-residents with carry permit that TN honors are allowed to do this also, although that's not mentioned in the statute. - OS
  10. Then there's all that goofy black paint on the newer 10/22's that you have to wear off, too. It's down in the receiver, too. - OS
  11. Not a ton of room in Litton's, best I disremember? - OS
  12. Ah, thankee kindly for the update. Hadn't heard anything about it in a while, thought maybe it got tabled. - OS
  13. I dunno either, but I have 10 factory 10/22 mags, and I don't think I've had ANY jams from ANY of them, and I've shot at least 5 types/brands of .22LR through them. By Winchester "target", if that's the lead head stuff, I've shot it too, without probs. - OS
  14. Guess I've lost track...didn't legislature pass statute to keep it non-public, or at least non publishable, or something? - OS
  15. Beginning to look like there won't BE many places to go. - OS
  16. I want to carry a loaded long gun in parks. - OS
  17. What's up with these bozos? They already CAN "ban guns", all they have to do is put up a friggin sign. - OS
  18. My man David Bullard makes a nice all leather rig for it: D.M. Bullard Leather Mfg. "Dual Carry" for Taurus Millennium Pro RH - OS

    Truck Guns

I carried 3 loaded long guns to our E. TN shoot on Sat. - OS
  20. I can go from round in chamber with my 870 to no round in chamber by only racking once. The round in chamber is ejected and the next round about to be chambered can simply be dropped out by tilting the gun to the side before racking forward. The rest of the shells stay in the tube. - OS
  21. No. You can have gun loaded, but no shell in the CHAMBER. Meaning, with tube or magazine fed rifles/shotguns, tube/mag can be loaded, mag can be in the weapon, etc. Just no shell racked into the chamber. The only long weapons that saw no difference in application of the law would be single shot rifles/shotguns, or double barrel shotguns, since the only place for shells to be are in the chamber. - OS
  22. How you make dem holes green? Green paper behind it just for the pic? - OS
  23. What I meant was, a lot of primary site blocking software blocks "front door" access through, say, photobucket.com or whatever, but doesn't reach as deep as a link to photobucket.com buried in the html of another site's page. But sounds like they have you buttoned up pretty well. I guess RedTube is out of the question from there. - OS
  24. You can't see pictures in TGO threads at work? - OS
  25. Ruger revolver and rifle Remington rifle and shotgun Kahr pistol Hi-Point rifle and pistol Cobra derringer Mossberg rifle made in Brazil Two Springfield pistols made in Croatia I'm glad a lot of them are 'Mericun made, but I didn't buy them because they were. - OS
