  1. Note this is named "Topic Naming Example". I will save it. Then I will edit it and change the name to "Topic Is Renamed Now". Notice the difference between the topic title on main view and then when you open the topic. - OS
  2. It changes it when you actually OPEN the thread, but it always still shows the original title within the forum view that shows all threads within it. - OS

    22lr Handgun

If you want something that never jams on any brand of ammo and is accurate and easy to clean, get a Ruger Single Six or Bearcat. - OS
  4. Yep, just another reliable "report". UFOs, aliens, yetis, Elvis, Jesus, etc: people report seeing them daily. - OS
  5. What kind of handgun do you wind up with, and how do you carry it concealed? - OS
  6. So, I'm supposed to just automatically believe that, right? - OS
  7. Well, the simplest explanation (as per Occam) is that there are NO North American cougars in TN, since there isn't a documented case of one being killed since, well, far as I know, NEVER in the history of TWRA. And a black one? Never a documented case in ALL of North America. Ever. - OS
  8. TN yetis keep painters as pets. - OS
  9. Actually, 9mm WinClean is TWICE as expensive as FMJ. Those $18-21 boxes I've seen over the last 6 months or so are for 50 rounds! - OS
  10. A "loophole"? For who? I really don't see it as an issue. Either you have one or you don't, what's the big deal either way as long as you're carrying legally either way? - OS
  11. You won't turn the tide by simply voting for the "other party". Not anymore. The Dems and the GOP are merely placeholders for each other now. - OS
  12. I'll believe it when I see one documented at a weigh in station and acknowledged by TWRA. Until then, I still consider painters in TN as wishful thinking. - OS
  13. Yep, really like mine, too. Only reason I don't EDC it was I finally decided I felt more comfy with more rounds. But I still carry it in pocket sometimes. Only failures I've ever had was with changing mags, and top round wasn't seated correctly in mag. They tend to jiggle loose, sometimes top round will come forward a little and nose down, so get used to checking them. This has been reported a lot from folks who carry spare mag loose in pocket, some have even had several rounds come all the way out of mag. Also, it really IS a good idea to chamber first round by releasing slide stop, as Kahr suggests. At least until it's well broken in. - OS
  14. And I happen to be from the planet Twilo, myself. But I'm a legal alien. What's an ABC class? Alcohol Beverage Control, or something? - OS
  15. 12.95 w/ free shipping on eBay. - OS
  16. Currently says, "Source: Tennessee Department of Safety; public records include permits issued before May. 2, 2009, and valid as of today." - OS
  17. F*** the Dems AND the GOP. This two party flip-flop has become the tyranny we see today. Each party lives from the other and either is eventual loss of all traditional American freedoms. - OS
  18. I can see why it's difficult to get this Class III stuff done. - OS
  19. I'll let others confirm, but I believe that IS the rule difference. Becomes AnyOtherWeapon ($5) rather then ShortBarreledShotgun ($200) But don't do it till you have stamp in hand. Again, my question, slightly modified by this post. Does the Short Barreled Shotgun/Rifle stamp also allow the under 26" overall length? Does the AOW stamp also allow the under 26" length? - OS
  20. Question on that I've never really had answered: if you get the stamp for short barrel shotgun or rifle, does that also allow you to be under 26"? Those two measurements both covered by same stamp? - OS
  21. Entire Lee site down 4:10 ET. - OS
  22. Can't give you a expert answer, but my opinion is that normal "high velocity" ammo (in the 12-1300 fps range) won't hurt it. I have Remington Fieldmaster made about 1955, I shoot all the current bulk loads, some of which claim 1290 fps, no probs. Also have shot a bunch of similar through early 50's model H&R revolver, also no probs. My opinion worth what you paid for it, of course. - OS
  23. SHTF/TEOTWAWKI books I have: The Road Lucifer's Hammer On The Beach The Postman Alas, Babylon The Stand One Second After World War Z Patriots I Am Legend and the most extended time frame, A Canticle for Lebowitz Each one interesting in it's way. - OS

  25. Great looking pistola. Definitely top 'o the line, congrats. I'm at over 5 months on one from Tim, ordered 3/11/09. I see on his site he's working on orders 3/2 - 3/10. So, finally getting close. - OS
