  1. Well, I have to "tinker" with the factory mags now and then. Apparently the ProMags require you to have both machine shop and metaphysical skills to make 50% reliable (on most ALL guns they are made for). - OS
  2. Ooops, since you said that, it must be Bad to do that anymore - modified. Anyway, cuss filters can't catch pixel content, only text, like file names. So a pic can say F**K, as long as the file name does not. - OS
  3. Yeah, I've used one of those for years now, I don't pretend it actually removes all the possible baddies, but does make the water quite palatable. Like OP, I avoid aspartame for the most part too -- Diet Rite and Diet RC are about the only common dopes out there lately that use sucralose, so I keep some of those around, too. - OS
  4. Or even just flesh to a depth that matters. Exactly my point. - OS
  5. Nashville's even rougher than I remember! - OS
  6. 16 round mag for XD sub compact, multi-tool, and flashlight. - OS
  7. You keep birdshot in your handguns, too? - OS
  8. Lordie, how much do you have to run through it a year for that? - OS
  9. The only "high capacity" mags I know of are ProMag, and nobody claims they work period. - OS
  10. Yeah, must be something like that, as he does indeed have mon-fri daily 3 hour show, just like Rush. - OS

Expanding ammo banned in the Hague Convention of 1899, not Geneva Conventions. - OS
  12. My Dad rests there. - OS
  13. Last we talked, Mike.357 hasn't figured out how to get his OUT of the new stock yet, LOL! - OS

  15. I disrememberd. Can only say it didn't make it any uglier, which of course would be an impossibility. - OS
  16. Mike.357 painted his HP pistol, but just the polymer frame. He'll probably see this thread,if not, PM him. Sure you want to paint the metal? They only made the "chrome" ones for a couple of years. It might be worth big bucks...you know, like an extra five or ten maybe! - OS
  17. Only the old ones with actual silver content. - OS
  18. Which is why, ultimately, the GOP as a whole has not stood up for gun rights much more than the Dems over time. Both parties mouth support for 2A but cite "common sense limitations" in their platforms. It's a Parliament of Whores, so effete now that it might as well be legislation from another country. - OS
  19. Oh, I dunno. - The Patriot Act stuff may ultimately be used for the largest loss to personal freedom in the US as anything else. Can't blame that one on the Dems. - And it's certainly true that the GOP has done absolutely NOTHING about health insurance reform, even though they all now claim that it needs to be fixed, just not in the "Dem way". - And let's remember whose watch TARP began on, eh? - As far as 2A, the only real issue that has arisen under this administration thus far has been to allow carry in National Parks. While I don't doubt the underlying anti-2A movement within the Dems, there's really nothing concrete to point at. The two party system has become tyranny, plain and simple. One can't exist without the other, and they know it, use it, count on it. - OS
  20. I'm bagging it for sure... Besides weather, I've got tail end of sore throat and cough that has lasted longer than expected, so don't wanna be Typhoid Mackie. - OS
  21. And there's the crux of the prob. That's how O got there in the first place, just change the players. Both parties count on this simple ebb and flow process, long term. They get weaker or stronger, but are always still in the game. - OS
  22. If you did it was likely quickly nuked. Mags are a no go on eBay. - OS
  23. Yeah, forecast has changed a lot in last few days. "Snow to rain" high of only 40. Hmmm... - OS
  24. Everyone else seems to be overlooking this. Over and over. Switchblades and knuckles (both NOT in the 1-5 list) do NOT have to be non-functioning, only need to fit the "curio, ornament, or keepsake" clause. - OS
  25. Then neither example helped answer the OP's question at all. ------------ I've always heard that short of obvious abuse and whatnot, S&W is pretty good at fixing them through multi-owners, and that seems to be confirmed so far. Of course, other companies will do same, like Springfield, even though the XD warranty says "original retail purchaser" only. Even the Hi-Point warranty says "original owner" but of course HP will fix any and all guns, even the ones that have obviously been abused in whatever manner. - OS
