  1. Dunno. The Anthro folks I used to shoot closeups of artifacts for, said that tooth problems were a significant cause of mortality in Eastern Woodland Period for native Americans. Makes sense. I can't image how you'd pull say, an abscessed wisdom tooth without metal instrument. If you can't drain an abscess, it'll likely become systemically septic. "Castaway" aside, it's pretty hard to cleanly "knock out" at tooth. - OS
  2. I don't know anything about Steel Challenge competition, except that it's all about combination speed/accuracy. I wouldn't think a scope designed for precision target and/or hunting would necessarily be the best option? - OS
  3. The one often touted on survialistboards.com is "Where There Is No Dentist" can be downloaded free at: Hesperian Foundation There is "Where There Is No Doctor" and other stuff there too. - OS
  4. What is this "tear down" you speak of? I spray/q-tip what I can around bolt, use BoreSnake on barrel, shot of CLP on rail area, ta da. - OS
  5. I've actually spent significant time on RimFireCentral; somehow, the Whistle Pig brand name just didn't stick in the few remaining brain cells. - OS
  6. Electricity? Dental stuff would be big, though. Abscessed tooth can kill ya, and kicker than many think. Assuming it's where you can see it, knife or needle to drain it. If under tooth or in root, pliers and pain would be about the only option. And God forbid it breaks off during extraction. - OS
  7. Meant "net", duh. And yeah, there are loonier "news" sites out there, but once you go past a certain point, it's tough for me to use the word "credibility" at all. - OS
  8. Methinks you didn't conduct very comprehensive research....see others' responses...there are MANY options for a 3" SP101. My man David Bullard makes a nice IWB, here's mine in 2 1/4, but he also has same for your 3 1/16" barrrel: - OS
  9. I honestly don't know how well the Charter will stand up to lots of shooting, but you can shoot full power .357 with the SP101 day in day out. - OS
  10. I'm not gonna burn time to seek these out, but afraid I don't believe a one of them. Of course, if they ain't true, they should be, eh? - OS

    glock 23 magazine

Yeah, XDs come with one, too. (puke) Uplula. Do yourself a favor. - OS

    glock 23 magazine

Uplula. Get yerself one. - OS
  13. Must admit I didn't know about them...just looked them up. They come in colors! - OS
  14. I see you don't show HCP, so guess you've never had check run for that? Have you always been able to buy guns from FFLs okay? - OS
  15. That stock is really quite something, never seen anything like it. Did you buy the bolt jeweled that way, or have someone do it? - OS
  16. World News Daily. Right. Trigem's endtime.com needs less tinfoil, and that's saying a mouthful. - OS
  17. Yep, cheaper than printer ink. I don't even spring for stapler/staples, use masking tape. - OS
  18. BIG free tip. YOU are as good a ground as engine block - do NOT hold spark plug/wire when you crank it (although it's a very very quick way to find if it's firing). - OS
  19. Well, if it's gonna happen, I wish they'd go ahead and get it done, in hopes I might can score some affordable coverage, and I'm in pretty decent health, or wouldn't be able to (barely) afford what I've got, and it ain't for crap. - OS
  20. Yeah, but plug generally needs to be touching metal to ground it. I always held it down to touch engine block with piece of wood when checking a car. - OS
  21. I can attest that abused correctly, belladonna and opium suppositories will make you feel goooood. - OS
  22. Actually works pretty well. All kinds of flavors, different brands all taste differently. And all are in themselves addictive also, 'cause it's still Nick O' Teen. - OS
  23. Only actual functional diff in that one is a drop-in Volquartsen hammer to lighten trigger pull some. Note that it quit driving tacks soon as it heated up, though. The thicker .920 target barrels are supposed to be more forgiving of that phenomenon. But no dovetail on those for iron sight, so you're totally dependent on scope when the zombie groundhog hordes attack. - OS
  24. Voilá. Déjà vu all over again. - OS
  25. All very strange, as can't imagine how either of those could keep it from racking. At any rate, yeah, you need to field strip it right away, after all, THAT was where prob arose. - OS
