  1. Actually, I don't think they allow plates/DL database out, even for filthy lucre, do they? - OS
  2. No telling what's really in his head. Ya only go around once, and he's personally worth close to 3 billion. I have a feeling he knows he can't take it with him. - OS
  3. It's understandable -- you're almost a UT graduate. - OS
  4. Actually, I am 000-00-0002, good call! - OS
  5. NM, decided better to PM. - OS
  6. Besides, you have to have two sides in a war. What are they? Anarchy due to societal breakdown maybe, but that is not civil war. - OS
  7. I don't think a candidate known primarily for his personal wealth will play with all the (even more than usual) poor in either metro or urban areas. Of course, should he actually run as an independent as he threatens, could be enough alone to swing the election for the Dems, so he could be a real factor, albeit a negative one for the GOP, which I'm already caring less about than even I predicted. They're talking that this will be the first billion dollar election (Obama), although I though that was about the price of the last one. Anyway, Trump could spend that from his own pocket if he wants to go all in. - OS
  8. I recommend you don't. The phone person is probably a temp who knows more about Saturn than TN carry laws. Not even sure the rank and file there are really hip on the laws beyond the permitting process. - OS
  9. Half the city folks are from other states anyway. - OS
  10. Yeah man. Lived there. Old farmhouse that's not there anymore, big house built on same site back in the 80's, 'bout a "block" from McGinnis on west side of Roberts nearest to you, not the part that picks back up farther out north of House Mtn. - OS
  11. Bench shooting should show a slight diff between .357 and 9mm, since the barrel is sized for the larger bullet. There is also a difference in how the different weights and powder loads available for .357 vs 9mm affect POI without adjusting sights. Even with same diameter and weight bullet, there's gonna be a diff tween .38 and .357. Of course, I'm not good enough to notice a diff. - OS
  12. Lordy, if I had to shoot only the highest priced .22 I wouldn't be much involved. My fav bulk right now is the Blazer. Maybe three bricks so far, not one single misfire or noticeably underpowered round in rifles or pistols. Garufa says it's about as accurate as anything he has tried, too. - OS
  13. Ruger disagrees with you. - OS
  14. People think that the 'painters are either tawny or black. They're actually perfectly camouflaged for their terrain, that's why they're so difficult to spot. The ones in the Eastern US are actual Chameleon Cougars. Hell, there could be two or three in that picture, ready to snuff that deer. - OS
  15. Well, they've had database glitches before, but always eventually corrected. - OS
  16. Yours issued before March 8, 2011 ? - OS
  17. Yeah, but Thunderbolts were somewhat problematic with no-fires before I put the VQs in. Not nearly as bad as Rem Golden Bullets have become in last year or two, though. Bang bang ffft bang fft bang bang bang fft fft.. I'd rather they didn't go off at all than the underpowered ones. Was at range Friday, a dad and his kid...had Colt .22 AR, giving him a fit. Golden Bullets. We loaded his mag with my Blazer 40 gr leadheads, flawless. - OS
  18. If you've never been there, both hospitals are jammed in between residential on three sides and Cumberland commercial on the other. It's not like it's a big isolated "compound" like UT Hospital. I'm sure in vehicle will be fine. You might even find street parking a couple/three blocks around, though the UT campus area stays pretty full on the streets. Hope your boy's health turns out well. - OS
  19. My 10/22s like Thunderbolts just fine. The ones that go off anyway. - OS
  20. I walk by Childrens/Ft.Sanders a bit. Every main building entrance I've noticed is posted one way or the other. A couple of the professional buildings have "no concealed weapons" signs with gun and knife buster. Haven't perused all the parking lots, but haven't noticed any weapons signs, and I've parked in a couple. - OS
  21. indeed. Total Myth about the Baby Ones, even for the Fabled Cooperheads. - OS
  22. I have the Blackhawk .357/9mm. Love it. .357 ain't cheap, but .45 colt is way expensive, and of course .45 ACP is way more than 9mm. Plus you can shoot .38 Special too. - OS
  23. Mea culpa. I withdraw my erroneous sardonic comment. - OS
