  1. Well, though I've never heard of them, they're not brand new or anything, domain registered in '11 and WayBackMachine shows they've had a website the whole time. - OS
  2. Dunno, but some of their used Glock mags at 20 clams are same price as new ones from CDNN.
  3. Note: the CW9 is not equivalent to the PM9 in size or capacity, the CM9 is. - OS
  4. Or Trump. With more money.
  5. Me either. EDIT: actually, he did. Unlike last software iteration, banned members still show in member search, not just in threads. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/profile/10-james-yeager/ Odd thing is that he doesn't show as being banned either in profile or in threads, like say Kwik: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/profile/771-Voldemort/
  6. Unlike him, I don't believe Yeager was banned for anything he posted at all, just "proactively"? Heck, even Kwik got to rant here for a while back when before getting whacked. - OS
  7. His sycophants adore him. Similar to Gabe Suarez. - OS
  8. David registered the domain on 1/17/2007 - OS
  9. Requires some major assumptions, like having 21st century transportation in the 19th century to cover a vast amount of miles (and even if you did, you didn't have the roads to effectively use it), avoiding artillery (19th century barrages were as deadly as modern ones if they found yer own self), and all sorts of other anachronistic leaps. But numero uno would still be intelligence -- how could they know where everybody was or was likely to be at any given time? - OS
  10. This regards the FBI's Next Generation Identification. I wonder if the feds have actually said they'd actually enter the information? I mean, Hawaii can't pass a federal law, or even force a federal agency to do something by passing a state law, whether it's found to be constitutional or not. - OS
  11. Bill itself has just sat there with no action at all in 11/15. Obviously not going to be taken up by this Congress. - OS
  12. Even if Glen is snuffed, there will have to be a "farewell" flashback episode or two requiring some new scenes. I bet they'll drop back time briefly before the reveal, maybe jumping into one or more characters' heads as they flashback or whatever. - OS
  13. Well, I found the mid season finale rather underwhelming. Especially since central theme is three of the principals going crazy. Two of which I don't care about in the first place. - OS
  14. It was over after Gettysburg, as that was the last time northern held territory was really threatened to any significant extent. The army of the CSA became overall only a defensive force within its own homeland, and the South couldn't even reliably feed itself, let alone muster any significant manufacturing output -- while the North was just hitting its stride on cranking out the machinery of war. - OS
  15. If any clearly superior technology had manifest itself, the North would have had it in greater quantity anyway, ie Spencer rifles and other examples. Since it couldn't mount a a blitzkrieg type takeover of the Union, the South really lost the war on day one due to the inevitable attrition of troops and materiel compared to that of the North. It just took those four years to grind out the inevitable. - OS
  16. Start with free version of this: https://www.malwarebytes.org/ - OS
  17. Put a pistol brace on it and don't invite Max Kingery along when you shoot it. - OS
  18. Click the "i" to left of URL in the address bar. Should see notifications: allow, block, always ask. Perhaps it's set for "always ask"?
  19. Well, I myself certainly prefer it the way it is, in same way I expect a web browser's menu not to vary depending on which site I'm accessing. To me, a large part of "usability" of software interfaces depends on the commonality of command conventions between them. - OS
  20. A small icon to the left of a thread to go to first unread post is a conventional standard used by many forums running various bulletin board softwares -- methinks it would really be bucking the tide to change it. - OS
  21. I guess this must all be regarding mobile devices, dunno, but on desktop monitor at recommended 1600x900 I'm running it -1 on sizing. On laptop at 1366x768, the default is okay but -1 is fine also. EDIT: Oops, I should say I was running the original theme that way. With the darker one, seems the default is better on both, must have been some font size changes involved already.
  22. The darker theme is all aces IMNSHO. Gray shades replacing much of the white expanses and contrasting with them in quoted passages, wider separation between posts, etc, all very "eyegonomic" for moi. - OS
  23. And not just Trump. Trey Gowdy, Rand Paul, Mitch McConnell, Jeff Sessions, etc. - OS
  24. As far as comparable models, no. Just the high proportionality of Glocks being the weapon of choice. You can certainly shoot yerself in the ass with any of them via unsafe behavior. Or elsewhere of course. Reholstering seems to be involved with many occurrences, so that should be taken quite seriously. While a quick draw can certainly be beneficial, a quick reholster is almost never needed. - OS
  25. Wow, yours really is perfect for the format, really tasteful not to mention just purdy.
