1. No, I'm sure it did. The scans don't lie, since it's done by machines. I've had it happen before, including one that just sat for a week in an out of way state, took a postal inquiry to find it and free it! I wouldn't send anything without the delivery notification, on any class package. I dropped it like all the other stuff I've sent, label already paid and printed. Both were dropped after hours at night at actual PO on same date as "electronic shipping info received". (another plus for PayPal seller account). Note that one to you just sat all day on Tuesday the 6th, didn't even get out of town till next day. Probably just a bunch of temps on board, as regular folks were taking extended Labor Day vacation. 1st class is handled same as Priority, just that you can't use it over 13 oz, and over 13 oz supposed to be "handed" to clerk rather than dropped (slip in past line and dump on counter during working hours). The only thing diff between the two shipments was that I insured the ZT, so maybe it got delayed so folks could decide if it was worth stealing. All in all, though, over many years of using USPS for biz and personal, I have mostly only praise for the reliability. Never actually had one domestic mailing lost, generally 3 days or less to anywhere in the 48 if using First Class or Priority. The two days to Oregon was a day faster than I generally expect, though. - OS
 2. Yep. Hour or two of just crawling during prime time over the last week or more. Like the last hour or so. Seems to have snapped back to okay just a few min ago. (edit: oops, never mind, intermittent). Probably some other site hogging things; or is this no longer a shared server situation? - OS
 3. Doh. Of course. Silly me questioning the way of a Jedi. - OS
 4. Just a note: Check this returned Skyline to Kershaw compared to the ZT a few posts above, all the way to Oregon in two days, without going through New Jersey , sent same way as the one to Erik (First Class). 5. Last election it didn't matter. All the 3rd party votes combined wouldn't have defeated Obama had they gone to McLame. This time around they could very well reelect him. I think stopping Obama must be the prime directive this time around, period. And giving the winner the congressional majority to try for what I see as one last try. Personally, I think the upside down pyramid that comprises American is toppling and it's too late to prevent the continuing decline, but there's no reason to speed it up, or lower the bottom to which we fall. So yeah, I get "lesser of two evils" as still being evil, but one side is SO evil now, I'm tending to think of "greater good", however arguable that "good" may be. - OS
 6. Best for all of us to get knives included with firearms in the state preemption statute 39-17-1314. Just needs addition of the one word "knives". - OS
 7. Just Say NO !!
 8. Camping, people don't often shoot at you to get your stuff. - OS
 9. Only the mags are really worth it. Even the speed loader isn't a speed loader in same sense as say the Uplula. However, though I wanted to buy American if I could for my carry pistol, I actually chose the XD (original subbie) for several reasons, not the least being the grip safety -- been carrying daily for several years now, and it still provides an extra layer of now almost subconscious comfort. The two visual and tactile loaded/cocked indicators are nice, too. Also, at least at the time, there were some XD torture tests available comparable to the Glock that weren't available for the M&P. Also, the compact M&P hadn't yet appeared. Though I carry my Kahr PM a lot, too, with none of the above features, so it's not cast in stone that my carry gun must have these features. - OS
 10. How do all the packages attach to the tac vest? - OS
 11. Bizarre how they're hosting these. "Tea Party" and "CNN" just don't jibe. Neither did "Republican Debate" "Reagan Library" and "MSNBC" for the last one. - OS
 12. Will Paul actually be on the slate in the primaries of all states? Is that already determined, however it's done? Unless he drops out? He wasn't on the TN primary slate in '08, cause he dropped out I guess? - OS
 13. Just about every thread on this matter contains a similar post. I don't quite get how the military training suffices, though, since part of the course has to do with TN handgun carry/deadly force laws (however well or poorly it may be presented) and the military training wouldn't likely cover that. - OS
 14. Looks like Erik will (finally) get it today. Sheesh, USPS. Thank God it got out of Joysie, probably not even legal there or something... ------------

Out for Delivery, September 12, 2011, 9:16 am, ORLANDO, FL 32837

Sorting Complete, September 12, 2011, 9:06 am, ORLANDO, FL 32837

Arrival at Unit, September 12, 2011, 2:41 am, ORLANDO, FL 32837

Processed through Sort Facility, September 11, 2011, 8:13 pm, ORLANDO, FL 32824

Processed through Sort Facility, September 09, 2011, 7:54 pm, BELLMAWR, NJ 08031

Processed through Sort Facility, September 07, 2011, 5:45 am, KNOXVILLE, TN 37950

Accepted at origin sort facility, September 07, 2011, 5:45 am, KNOXVILLE, TN 37950

Electronic Shipping Info Received, September 05, 2011 -------- - OS

15. Rock and roll necessary to complete the package. - OS
 16. No. Yes, as I said. - OS
 17. Second that. Even I look almost like a decent shot with that baby. - OS
 18. If you buy it today, that one was worth $270 today. It's essentially the same $350 Wally mart Marlin 30-30 that is sold today. Just at least 30 years older with x amount of wear and/or dings. "Glenfield" brand was sold through KMart, Walmart, Sears, etc from 1960 through the early 80's. Dunno if a good buy or not. Maybe to a Marlinite trying to fill a collection niche. I'd find extra 80-100 and buy new, though. marlinowners.com can probably tell ya. - OS
 19. Wal-Mart is the epitome of The Great American Success Story. The American public has voted overwhelmingly. But talk about the canary in the coalmine syndrome: Wal-Mart is in it's worst sales slump in its history. There's no lower bottom, if the public can't afford to shop there, short of flea markets. - OS
 20. Exactly, and that sentiment, along with Saddam's public threats on his daddy's life fired up Dubya's cowboy vengeance, on a psychological (psychotic, really) level. No we didn't. Final total of finds by coalition forces totaled approximately 500 various canisters of degraded nerve agent, all buried long previously about the time of the Iraq/Iran conflict. If Saddam had WMDs, he would certainly have deployed them during the ground invasion. And he wouldn't have gotten them out of Iraq just previous to the invasion, makes no sense at all. Also, if we indeed had the wonderfully accurate WMD intel in the area you claim before the invasion, these weapons would have surfaced one way or the other afterwards by virtue of the same wonderful intel. And even if he did have the same level he did up through the Iran conflict, they posed little if any danger to the US. Yeah, all generals get rid of their weapons just before they need them the most, well known warfare tactic. Believing any of our constantly changing stated objectives in the Middle East is what requires the heaviest application of tin foil. - OS
 21. The market responded well. - OS
 22. Also, call Wally at Halls, East Town, Clinton Hwy, and Clinton. It is possible that that are in shorter supply since the Marlin plant move, reports online seems to vary, but each of those stores generally have had them in the past. (Actually, probably as quick to just drive to the stores, knowing how hard it is to actually get a department on the phone). - OS
 23. Erik, the knife has safely reached New Jersey on its way to you in Orlando, and taken longer to get a roughly equal distance, even in wrong direction, than anything I've sent in years. -----------

Processed through Sort Facility, September 09, 2011, 3:26 am, BELLMAWR, NJ 08031

Processed through Sort Facility, September 07, 2011, 5:45 am, KNOXVILLE, TN 37950

Accepted at origin sort facility, September 07, 2011, 5:45 am, KNOXVILLE, TN 37950

Electronic Shipping Info Received, September 05, 2011

------------ - OS
 24. I guess it was only the 9mm model that gained rounds then, wasn't sure ... thanks. - OS
 25. .60 - .75 per round cheapest. Federal from Wally's and Monarch from Academy is about the cheapest I know of, even counting online. Obviously a good round to reload if one shoots oodles of it. - OS
