  1. I dunno either, just so you don't feel all alone.
  2. All the mods are too. What a despicable bunch, eh?
  3. Won't happen period ever again in this country to a significant degree. A least not after we crash and burn and start over. - OS
  4. You're way behind Dave. Law changed since then. Gunbuster, all by itself, of any size, is statutory compliant posting. - OS
  5. Oh, you mean boneless pieces of chicken I guess... Saw "tenders" and thought "nuggets", nm.
  6. 5. Really. No more. The 4 shown in pic + the one in wallet is normal daily urb carry. The two large folder models and the necker have varied over time. - OS
  7. Many folks think there's some federal law against it, but no -- FMCSA regs don't mention them. CDL folks are under same legal status in whatever state in which they find themselves as anyone else. It's just that most trucking companies ban guns as policy, even for contracted owner operators. And of course in TN at least, school buses are treated same as any other school property. - OS
  8. It's in my wallet. Really. Boker Credit Card Knife:
  9. A farmer who made chicken tenders, really?
  10. It's just one of the stock answers when you're denied for ANY charge that still shows as unresolved. Doesn't matter if it were a disqualifying offense or not. It nevertheless is a fact that even if convicted multiple times for unlawful carry/possession in TN, it remains a Class A misdemeanor. - OS
  11. Cause of that resolution to ticket all of them on our roads down hear, don'tcha know.
  12. How did you know my last ex called me that?
  13. If it's from hammer hitting from dry firing, at the top, where hammer would fall if no shell in there. edit: wow, synchronized responses
  14. Dang if I can remember exactly. So many vignettes in that. I'd re-read it sometime but don't have it anymore.
  15. We shoulda called Google first see if they'd update one from the satellite.
  16. Bend the feed lips together on the mags, so close it takes some force to load the rounds. Make sure rounds are titled upward, smack back of mag on back of hand until they are. That's probably all it needs.
  17. Surprisingly, it hasn't generated much of a thread, though.
  18. I have both, like both Hi-Point 995 and Kel-Tec Sub2000, like both very much. Picked up the HP good long while ago 'cause I didn't expect to own any pistols that interchanged with the KT. Then later decided that I just must have a Beretta 92 in the stable so found KT in Beretta config too. Mag capacity of course is what the HP995 is most dissed for. But what the hell. Also, those mags get bent easily; most all feeding probs with the HP is mag related. Easy to tweak feed lips back more narrow though, generally all that's necessary. Both are just fine for torso shoots out to 125 yards with just the iron sights. The KT subbie has the possibly very big benefit to one of folding up into backpack/briefcase size. And 33 round Glock mags or 30 round Beretta mags (the Beretta mags are really nice, have built in spacer that just extends the grip frame neatly.) Dunno what SIg makes long mag wise. Anyway, I find them both nifty and effective carbines; I have the older 995 with the Planet of Apes stock, I love it like an ole ugly dog. I like the KT cause it's kinda the opposite, sort of slightly futuristic and the fold up always gets a wow from first time folks see it. The KT is much lighter than the HP, btw. Oh, but the world class pistol caliber carbine I own is the Marlin 1894c in .357 mag. - OS
  19. Ship it over, I'll give ya a Cnote for it. Seriously. PM me.
  20. My favorite .357 pair: The Blackhawk has the 9mm cylinder also, so there's one more caliber for compatibility. Of course both shoot .38 special also. - OS
  21. The statute that allowed carry in parks did not mandate that they remove the signs; it specifically mentions that they can stay as is, until needing replacement form normal maintenance. It was a selling point of the bill to make it revenue neutral, not costing any state labor to remove or redo signs. Many of the "no guns" are just part of a larger sign with various other info that they would still want to exhibit. - OS
  22. Well she can still shoot the bastrd without a permit. As long as she doesn't get caught with it before, she won't be charged with it when she uses it in a good shoot. One good thing in TN, at least illegal carry is only a Class A meanor at worst. It's a felony in x number of states. - OS
  23. Yep, I've always maintained that is THE weapon for the zed hordes. In World War Z, that's what was issued to the commando lady, the one who calmly climbed into a tree when she got hemmed in. Bout 30 minutes later she climbed down and walked over all the dead to the highway. - OS
  24. Thunder Barrel ... oh, wait, that's something else... - OS
  25. Revisionist claptrap, I say! Snipes went to prison because he messed with tradition with the Blade flicks, too!
