Assuming TN goes red without you. If it doesn't, you helped elect Obama -- and 25-30 years of a liberal Supreme Court, assuming we're still an entity that long. Sleep on that. - OS

I like good coffee of all kinds, generally settle for middle of the road, like Folger's drip for day to day. I do generally keep some Luzianne w/chickory around too. All that said, the caffeine is important too: I have been known in a hurry to just mix a glass of instant with tap water and knock it back just purely for the drug. So there's no substitute for the caffeine after SHTF, either I got it or I don't. - OS

Just vote for BHO, so you can't claim the chains were foisted upon you. - OS

In my apt, I've had several trails through the years, usually about like your experience, a few days at most just gone. Last infestation, though, I must have used a whole third of a bottle over about 10 days, just kept hitting the same three or four areas, then 6 or 8, with a drop as they ate it up.There might have been a flat million ants over that time that stopped by to slurp, must've tapped into a really big nest outside. Eventually got em, but by then I swear I was starting to feel a little guilty killing such a vast kingdom of any damn thing like that. I generally try to take care of stuff like this, minor plumbing probs, etc rather than get apt folks involved, just simpler. - OS

I'd vote for Satan himself over Obama. Equal footing, but at least Old Scratch is upfront about things. Minority impractical conscience will not help this ailing nation. At all. - OS

That was for the primaries. No longer good enough. Gotta be Romney now. Period. - OS

Thanks for sharing that model, haven't seen much about that one. The inlay and colored liners are nice little touches, classy looking for sure. - OS

Never personally, but reading forums for years, have seen every kind of saga from amazing and wonderful 1 week turnarounds to 1 year multiple send back horror stories. Seems over last couple years, mostly favorable comments since they opened the service center or whatever here in US? - OS

You'd better, since it's the law. - OS

Ace Hardware has it here. Sounds like the stuff you used may be 'bout same. Borax is the actual killer in the Terro. - OS

State Farm doesn't care about classification: If it shoots a bullet, it's just a "firearm". - OS

State Farm gives me $2500 on firearms on $50K renter's policy. I added $10K more on the firearms for ~$200, which is more than the whole $50K general policy. - OS

Headphones in way? My slim line electronic ones are actually somewhat problematic, plus I hear the recoil spring action VERY clearly. Earplugs, you can get right on it. I have a number of guns that behave better with earplugs than phones. - OS

Yep. And further, until the US goes through some very hard times, perhaps even catastrophic, we'll not see a more conservative president than Mitt elected again. - OS

Once you have inside ant trail, Terro is the bomb. Tried and true for many generations. Plus you get to watch the drama play out over a few days. - OS

That's not your seller rating. That's found under iTrader. As I understand it, it is your overall post content rating (folks voting your posts up or down, the arrows at bottom of each post). Don't know exactly how it computes, though, like exactly one for one or what, or whether the previous rating system figured in when software converted over to current IPB or not, etc. - OS

Don't remember all the specs, but wasn't that only to some below some level of income, to offset for food/necessities? Or it's like a "prebate" that everybody gets? Yeah, that's what my accountant told me when I first went into biz, too. Odd thing was, though, that I got an Industrial Machinery Sales and Use Tax Exemption, so that I could buy equipment with no tax either instate or interstate, and yet keep and use it without coughing up sales tax to TN. My accountant told me basically "no way they'll give you that" (my equip being computers, photography, and etc), but they did. Of course she also figured my TN income tax wrong, too, as did HR Block corporate guy, and TaxAct software. - OS

Yeah, I had replaced it by then, but really, for suburban hedgerow SHTF purposes, it's accurate enough without one. - OS

I've got one, it's minute of torso out to 125 yards or so with no front sight at all, just lining up the two ghost rings (yeah, mine broke but no biggie). I'm impressed with how reliable the thing has been, absolutely no failures at all with any ammo. Mine's the Beretta config, and it's really slick with the Beretta 30 round mags. - OS

If she finds the PM9 objectionable, she won't like the LCP either. The PM has as low a perceived recoil for pocket 9's as there is, that's part of its allure. I actually find the LCP quite a bit nastier: I think it's the fact that about the same type force is contained to affecting smaller surface area on hand, or whatever. I find 100 through a PM9 painless, 25 through a LCP unpleasant. - OS

New Mexico Cancels Reciprocity witn TN
Oh Shoot replied to Just2Honor's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Yes, of course. If indeed NM's own concealed carry permit rules haven't changed, then this is a result of a different AG or whoever re-looking at the issue after years of a previous policy. Ironically, you can have loaded gun in private vehicle and open carry there, so it's really splitting hairs for them to do it, but do it they have. TNDOS site still shows reciprocity w/ NM. Also still shows that WI doesn't recognize TN permit, but was almost certain it showed WI did shortly after first of the year. - OS -
Old debate over yet another gray part of TN weapons law. I would opine that its muddled intent is: - the exception would seem to apply to an unloaded gun, since no mention of "going armed" or "HCP" - the exception does not apply to students of the school where the vehicle is parked. Beyond that, even grayer, no opinion here, and AFAIK, hasn't been one issued by AG. One thing's certain though, that the college's prerogative to terminate employees and expel students is a separate issue from being charged under state law. - OS

Ah, thanks for sussing this out guys ... I didn't realize TGO had any silly substitution stuff activated. - OS
