  1. Oooo, good, Mav. - OS
  2. To be fair, I'm not sure the proportion of non-gun related vendors at the Expo is any different. Total number of vendors I guess are about the same? They're both RK shows after all. David, do you know relative vendor numbers? I know it "seems" like Expo venue is a bigger show, but that's probably totally due to simply having more room between rows and whatnot, everything is just more spread out. And really, the totally non-firearms stuff is quite the minority in both; seems the majority of that is milsurp/survival oriented. - OS
  3. Horse harness, socks, and seasoning: can't believe I didn't go to this "gun" show. - OS
  4. You must have little weenie fingers; how you reach all them strings and frets and keys and stuff? - OS
  5. Can't speak for David or other vendors, but the Jacobs shows are just too claustrophobic for me. Expo has more room, much better lit, phones work everywhere, etc. Fairgrounds is better place to hang out outside to buy and sell though. - OS
  6. For me too. Average hands. Actually, everybody I've ever had hold 19/23 one has middle finger ride up on the ridge of the first groove, and consequently pushes the others up on ridges of the others. It's just that it doesn't seem to bother most folks. I assume it's the same on the other full sized models, though I don't know if I've ever compared. Look at your own. Oddly, the first groove on 26/27's is larger and the (only two) fingers actually fit down IN the hollows. - OS
  7. Could well be, I don't know for sure either.
  8. AFAIK, he still is. Anyway, I think he's a hoot...you just have to fast forward through some of his reviews, but when he covers something I'm interested in, it's always appreciated to see all the little nuances about it, albeit it often ad nauseam. His "whit-chew!" sound effect when he presents a blade makes me giggle. - OS
  9. More likely they'll just sue TN, Holder really has that procedure down. - OS
  10. Anybody have one? American Rifleman gave it the Accessory of the Year award. Looks like about $220 street price to get the target and a caliber specific laser insert. And besides the training value, mainly just looks like fun! Anybody? http://www.laserlyte...ucts/lts-target I see Rob Pincus is shilling for it. - OS
  11. Yeah, I'll wait till next one at the Expo, don't dig the crowded ones at Jacobs anymore. - OS
  12. Underneath parking lot of Giant Stadium. I admit to being quite shrewd in regard to undocumented Tennessee "painter" sightings. And especially black ones -- even my Yeti friends assure me they don't exist. Btw, there really was one killed in CT in 2011 (not black of course, which is unknown, ever) : http://newrochelle.p...-south-dakota-9) - OS
  13. It's that simple as far as them getting my sales tax money -- it's the only way they'll get it. Wasn't debating the justification for it. - OS
  14. Correct. It has been ever thus. Same for individuals as for a business with sales and use cert that buys tax free for personal use. Only thing that has changed in all the years that I know of is that music/books downloads are the .0250 rate as opposed to the full rate for tangible goods. They'll get my tax money when they wise up and invest the effort to enforce it with online vendors like other states have done. - OS
  15. What new law? - OS
  16. No, it didn't. No matter how compelling your friend's uncle's neighbor's account may be. - OS
  17. I'm asking if you, ye, thyself do it. - OS
  18. I have mostly been able to separate a person's art from his politics. Hell, even Hanoi Jane. - OS
  19. Dunno, but seems the guy was indeed there, so right now probable cause looks pretty good, whatever it was. http://denver.cbsloc...-music-teacher/ Will have wait to see just how it all went down. - OS
  20. You do that yourself? - OS
  21. Hi-points don't know how to behave in safes, they just freak out. - OS
  22. You won't be charged sales tax on the purchase price by any TN FFL. - OS
  23. Actually, there aren't. Some of the inside details could only have come from the relatively few people in the Situation Room meetings. The actual bipartisan agreement on this issue is pretty amazing, really shows how seriously it's being taken on the Hill. - OS
  24. Some would say it's good to get rid of a Taurus any which way you can, and of course while it's still working if possible. - OS

"Brian" doesn't show anything different than normal user. Just that he's no-click dead. - OS
