Very small indeed. According to comments, will be right back on the docket for the new legislative session in a few days. - OS

Employers Requiring The Right to Search Your Vehicle
Oh Shoot replied to E4 No More's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
All that banned stuff and permission to search is in the contract for FedEx Ground drivers, too, who are all "independent contractors" - although they didn't care about reasonable pocket knife at least at my terminal, sort of a necessary item to have really. - OS -
The irony with revolution in the US is that it won't be necessary till sometime down the road after the guns are taken. Hence the more subtle usefulness in 2A, that it is ultimately as much prevention of total tyranny as recourse against it. - OS

Yep. All they did nationwide was pull the Bushmaster from showing on online. Wally sold beau coup ARs after CT, indeed every one they had in every store in the USA. - OS

Never been able to order guns online though Wally AFAIK, even to have them sent to your local store. Mac :)

If that's the whole article, my initial reaction is that it's above all quite brief - Brian, you wrote more here than there. :) Seems fairly balanced, and with the added video emphasis, might even be perceived to lean slightly "our" way if anything. Good non-biased wrap with the psychologist urging each side to understand the other. Would have liked to have seen at least a brief mention of the Constitution, though, and the real reason firearm ownership is specifically granted therein. Understanding that is the ultimate valid answer to "why does anyone need an AR-15". - OS

Loved the gun play, though, theme of thread. So much of it, they could have cut the rest of the flick and still had a half hour feature. - OS

Doesn't even have address on website. Whois record shows: ----------------------- ARD ENTERPRISES,INC 7522 VALJEAN AVE VAN NUYS, California 91406 United States Administrative Contact: ferro, richard info@ar15depot.com ugk inc. 1540 n highland ave #108 los angeles, California 90028 United States +1.3234637555 Technical Contact: ferro, richard info@ar15depot.com ugk inc. 1540 n highland ave #108 los angeles, California 90028 United States +1.3234637555 ----------------- Looking at the two places on Google Street View doesn't exactly inspire confidence. Neither do some of the comments on reviews, guy seems to sell mostly at Kali gunshows: https://www.google.com/search?q=ar15depot+review&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a Personally, I wouldn't bite. "AR" and "Kali" don't go together well in my mind anyway. :) - OS

Never heard of them. ar15depot.com ?

I don't like indoor ranges period. Even with adequate hearing protection, hate the close quarters concussion, air quality, and general overall claustrophobic conditions. Have several free passes to one that have remained in range bag for 3 years or so now. - OS

Just to follow up, this seems to be the model I have: R-01526, although that number isn't on the muffs anywhere: http://www.casa.com/p/howard-leight-r-01526-impact-sport-electronic-earmuff-309155?site=CA&utm_source=Google&utm_medium=cpc_C&utm_term=HYV-14816&utm_campaign=GoogleAW&CAWELAID=1309102088&utm_content=pla&adtype=pla&cagpspn=pla - OS -
There was a guy picked up in some trees nearby, somebody reported it was the younger brother when they still thought the older brother was the one who did it. Then somebody reported it was the older brother once they determined the true identity of the shooter. A friggin media circus. They detained the guy (in handcuffs I believe) for a while, turned out he was a guy coming to school to bake stuff, had heard the shooting before he went in and backed off is I believe the upshot of he real story. - OS

You know that Mini14 is specifically mentioned as a banned firearm in the synopsis of Fiend-stein's bill, right? - OS
-
If you look through the various FAQ sections at Ruger site, they state that every firearm they make is safe to dry fire. Some "users" claim that XD striker retainer roll pin will break with enough dry firing. Springfield has never said anything about it one way or the other, though the manual suggests familiarizing yourself with the gun by operating it without ammo, including dry firing. - OS

That's cool, thanks, since it just adds a space first time or two depending, I never thought to keep hitting it.

All private sales are banned in Kali, doesn't matter where they occur. Your tax dollars at work, paying an moronic blowhard. - OS

Sometimes I have to do that to get out of the quote field at all, if I've edited the quote itself. - OS

50 million legal abortions since '73. 1.25 million per year, or 3,400 per day for 40 years. Unlike most traffic accidents, each of these is premeditated. If we just made killing legal in all of its many forms, end of problem. Survival of the fittest, as nature intended, eh? Plus the economy would boom with so many fewer people competing. - OS
-
And unlike doing the same with firearms, it's actually legal with parts and accessories. :) - OS
