Never mind, I was thinking of a different tac school, forgot it was Tactical Response for some reason. Getting on up there I guess. - OS

Jimbo is gonna be on the Ed Show tomorrow evening. Probably won't come off as quite the lunatic as Alex Jones, but it is bound to be another negative in the struggle. Yeager must not grok MSNBC, it's a fool's errand for him to do it. - OS

Yeager lives in Nashville area?

Biden: Executive orders, action can be taken on guns
Oh Shoot replied to QuietDan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
And he might be the president in 2016. Depending on Hildebeeste. - OS -
CNN is the John Birch Society compared to MSNBC. Jeez, David, you've got to know the enemy. You may think you do, but you're underestimating it if you don't watch a bit of murderer's row. They far outrate CNN, and nip at the heels or even beat FOX in some slots and age groups. Hell, their slogan now is "Lean Forward", and "progressive" is a holy word. MSNBC lineup, EST: 7:00pm - Hard Ball (Chris Matthews, repeated from 5:00) 8:00pm - The Ed Show w/ Ed Shultz 9:00pm - Rachael Maddow Show 10:00pm - The Last Word with Laurence O'Donnell Repeated through the wee hours just like Fox. - OS

Biden: Executive orders, action can be taken on guns
Oh Shoot replied to QuietDan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
RINO senators, apparently. - OS -
Ed just showed a clip from Jimbo's "followup" vid, which edited, was bad enough. Then said he will be guest tomorrow night. I don't expect quite the debacle of the Jones/Morgan scale, but it's bound to be a fool's errand at best. - OS

Biden: Executive orders, action can be taken on guns
Oh Shoot replied to QuietDan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Biden had been sent to the Senate for 36 years by his constituency before the last 4 as veep, so that's really stretching "temporary" methinks. - OS -
Guns and Freedom by Judge Andrew Napolitano
Oh Shoot replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Freedom Watch: The economic impact of a popular host with low ratings http://www.examiner.com/article/freedom-watch-the-economic-impact-of-a-popular-host-with-low-ratings "October numbers to date prove to be Napolitano’s lowest rated month for total viewers (P2+) since May ’11, and the absolute lowest rated month in the demo all year, averaging a measly 50,000 total viewers, with 8,000 in the demo. He’s also down 10% in total viewers, and a whopping 43% in the demo just since last month. To make matters worse, he loses more than half of the audience that the network’s top-rated Lou Dobbs Tonight brings in on a regular basis." Judge Napolitano says conspiracy theory about why Freedom Watch was cancelled is false and stop emailing Fox NOW http://www.dailypaul.com/214959/judge-napolitano-asks-you-to-stop-emailing-fox-with-conspiracy-theories-about-freedom-watchs-cancellation - OS -
White House to bypass congress on gun control
Oh Shoot replied to ted's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
May not need to. Even Scalia said the constitutional extent of gun legislation would have to be decided in future cases. And of course, Roberts grasped at straws to find a justification for Obamacare. - OS -
TN state rep Faison: unfunding confiscation attempts
Oh Shoot replied to GKar's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Just means the fed has to pay for it. Which just means you and I pay for it. Oh course, the fed just has to deny any funding to the state they choose, too. That's its first hammer for compliance to federal statutes. The fact that they haven't done it regarding the various pot legal states is just their choice for selective enforcement, just like on illegal immigration. - OS -
Blumenthal to File Ammunition Bill
Oh Shoot replied to Oh Shoot's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Anybody who has seen Ronin knows this to be true. - OS -
Why? Proposed legislation like this: http://www.politico.com/story/2013/01/richard-blumenthal-background-checks-on-ammunition-purchases-85911.html Better get them Teflon coated bullets while you can! - OS

Good thing for you there's no longer a "dislike" option. ;)

HB 0009: permit records made confidential
Oh Shoot replied to GKar's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
With all the hoopla of the publishing of the permit owners in those NY counties and wherever else right now, maybe it will finally pass. - OS -
I grabbed the first one for posterity, knew it was gonna blow up. Just grabbed this one too, before he retracts the retraction. :) - OS

Well, was same year as midterm election, yes. Bill signed into law Sept. 13, 1994. Mid term elections 6 weeks later in Nov. 1994 Voter turnout for that year was on par with normal. Turnout for the full election in 1996 was actually lower than normal. Which all means: something. Maybe. - OS
-
I don't see that his "retraction" has been posted here?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2kkax7WOKI - OS

That's about .0001 % of TN population. What exactly would such a pitiful turnout like that really convey? Overwhelming 2A patriotism or lunatic fringe? Right. That'll happen. - OS

There's just too much insanity going on everywhere, so many stories to pick from: "CONNECTICUT -- Westport police arrested an 86-year-old woman accused of bringing a BB gun to a town meeting." And wow, she had 46 caliber pellets! http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/01/09/16432670-86-year-old-woman-charged-after-bringing-bb-gun-to-town-meeting-police-say?lite= - OS

Another of my least favorite people on the Hill, Sen. Richard Blumenthal will file a sweeping ammunition bill, to include background checks for buying any ammo. Heard him on MSNBC, and what's not included in this brief article is some of his more idiotic comments, about how his mentor had been part of stopping the sale of Cop Killer Bullets, and that this bill will include banning all Teflon bullets! Oh no, not the uber effective Teflon Bullets! Also, feds would be notified for purchases of 1,000 rounds or more, and all stores must keep a record of all ammo sold tied to each person, and such. The article here is just a blurb really, but you get the idea: http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/276155-blumenthal-introduces-new-legislation-on-gun-ammunition - OS

Revolutionary fail. "...Schaeffer Cox was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court on nine felony counts, including conspiracy and possessing illegal weapons. The 28-year-old is the third and last member of the Alaska Peacemakers Militia to be sentenced after authorities used an informant to infiltrate the group...." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/08/schaeffer-cox-sentenced-26-years_n_2435659.html - OS

I don't think Fiend-stein's bill will call on doctors to handle the gun registry part. - OS

Looks like Yeager got to the one where he videoed it from screen from my link above. Maybe there's a technicality there, like copyright, dunno. The other one, his actual vid, is still up by the other user. Here's a tsk tsk from another YouTuber: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtJDO9IeSro - OS

I don't think there's an old boy network that includes various internet forum sysops. :)
