  2. Two "cheap ones" I know of in 17th St. area look quite .. umm... maybe too "exciting".   Here's a search result, note the Google hotel engine near head of list, too:   https://www.google.com/search?q=knoxville+extended+stay+motel&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a#hl=en&newwindow=1&client=firefox-a&hs=1Wy&tbo=d&rls=org.mozilla:en-US%3Aofficial&sclient=psy-ab&q=knoxville%2C+tn+extended+stay+motel&oq=knoxville%2C+tn+extended+stay+motel&gs_l=serp.3..0i13j0i8j0i8i13i30l2.269704.270148.0.270502.4.4.0.0.0.0.86.305.4.4.0.les%3B..0.0...1c.1.3.psy-ab.CGF6THPEolE&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bvm=bv.42553238,d.eWU&fp=4e7c4b5fbad525b3&biw=1697&bih=758   - OS

  4.   Yeah, and this baby is polymer upper also.   You'd still think it would be a decent buy, since stripped Omni lowers alone are going for $70 and up. Have one coming myself, will be $107 after shipping/FFL transfer/TICS.   - OS
  5.   Yeah, didn't take till I saw 2.ooohhh's followup, sorry.
  6. Yeah, most are .22lr only, but at least one, the ATI Omni will run standard 5.56 uppers: Must not be much regarded though, PSA has had them for weeks, not sold out at $500. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/omni-16-22lr-polymer-m4-rifle-omni22.html - OS
  7.       Nope, Remington's headquarters are in Madison, NC for a good while now.   - OS
  8.   I got the original invoice via email through PayPal.   But the invoice also appears in my TGO profile, under Client Area / Invoices / Pending.   It's still gone this time, we'll see if it stays that way   - OS
  9.   Yeah, but read somewhere the folks that do it are also in CO, and Magpul included them in the lost revenue/jobs, so seemed as they wouldn't use them.     Yeah, but Dems have majority there too, don't know by how much. And the Guv has stated he's behind the bill, so seems no prob with him signing it.   - OS
  10. I had done only a six month sub last time around for some reason, got invoice when it ran out. Since I wanted to do whole year, I canceled the invoice. Three times. Keeps coming back.   Just cancelled it again, we'll see if it stays gone.   Anyway, when I did the one year one, I had option for recurring or non-recurring.   If any of that helps...   - OS
  11. I actually had about 300 small thin steel plates once upon a time.   Put one in the junk mail return envelopes and returned them until I used them all.   Didn't do any good, don't reckon, but tickled me at least.   - OS
  12.   Firearms cause blurry vision? ;)
  13.   To be fair, I blew it a bit in my post, one statement was from Lamberth and the other from Ramsey.   - OS
  14.   Well, unlike Magpul, "Remington" can't really make that call, what with having two layers of ownership above them.   - OS
  15.   Perhaps better discussed in an "on topic" forum, just saying.   Anyway, Ramsey said:   "It allows for a one-name check," Lamberth said. "It doesn't allow for the entire the entire list to get out there under any circumstance."   However, you can bring up all of the database, alphabetical by name, with just one click.   Also   'Ramsey agreed that "it serves no purpose" for news organizations to post searchable databases of handgun carry permit holders online.'   Seems these two statements are at odds.   - OS
  16.   No, owned by the founder, Richard Fitzpatrick, not publicly traded.    OS
  17. Serpa, Holster of Death:   https://www.google.com/search?q=serpa+holster+of+death&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a   - OS
  18.   Two different folks?   Thread seems to be 'bout feller named Robert Adams in Albuquerque, and link above is about the Rick Reese family?   - OS     Had the above already typed out when your post hit.   - OS
  19.   Well, you asked about a specific Millet scope model, so can presume that no one who has seen the thread has it, so couldn't comment, eh?   - OS
  20.   Like, every country in the world has that same law?   - OS
  21. I'd opine it's a biz on the way out.   Soon we'll be wired all the time with a receiver the size and thickness of a credit card, 3-D monitor built into sunglasses or side view optical or whatever.   - OS
  22.   It began within a week after Sandy Hook. I guess you might have heard of that?   - OS
  23.   Rip Van Winkle?   Little things like a presidential election, Sandy Hook, and a new Congress with a passel of proposed anti-gun legislation come to mind.   - OS
  24.   Dunno.  Nothing has yet gotten through the Dem controlled US Senate, not even close so far.   Dems know which side their districts butter the bread on, so just depends, I guess.   If Dem controlled Congress factor alone equated to firearms bans, we would have lost all of them long ago.   - OS
