  1.   As does blowing the name of the movie in rebuttal. :) :)   However, I agree with your other points. And I'll buy from from CTD again when they have something I want at the price I'm willing to pay. 'Cause I'm a whore, and my bucks are largely apolitical if not outright amoral.   - OS
  2.   Perhaps you should not have spoken it with a hyphen, then he would have grokked it? ;)   - OS
  3. Ordered 3 on Thurs night and they were in the mailbox today. Astounding, I must say.   - OS
  4.   On the other hand, if it's going there, the sooner the better. SCOTUS will only get more liberal/progressive soon.
  5.   Question: "Why are you carrying so many guns, what are you afraid of?"   Answer: "Not a damn thing".   - OS
  6.   Better wipe off them specs, Leroy.  ;)   Polls indicate otherwise, depending on the exact "gun control" issue. The "universal background check" issue under discussion is overwhelmingly a yes, no exception on any credible poll (even those that picked Mitt as even or better in last election, so there's not even any to choose to believe that say otherwise).   - OS
  7.   Depends on the rifle ... the 1250-1500 fps (rated with PBA) ones will generally still go supersonic with the normal 7.5 gr and lighter lead pellets. The heavy ~10.5 gr lead pellets might make the diff, depending on rifle.   - OS
  8.   Deliciously vindictive. ;)   - OS
  9. Oh, there's gonna be an end to private sales, you can pretty much bet on it. It was gonna happen at some point even without Sandy Hook.   Only question is what kind of database comes with it.   - OS
  10.   First, you seem to be ambivalent on one point -- do you like the guy or not?   - OS
  11.   Both gone now. They lasted longer than usual though, maybe things are indeed starting to "catch up".   - OS
  12.   Yeah, that can certainly figure into other named weapons like knives and clubs (a ball bat can be just a ball bat or it could be a "club", depending),  but a loaded firearm simply needs no further proof of "intent".   - OS
  13. The published fps/ft-lb are slightly different between the two onsite there in 9mm. Didn't look at any other calibers.   - OS
  14.   Obvious online BS. The occasional .22LR ammo that shows up both online and at Wally and other brick and mortars is old ammo that has just been kept under wraps somewhere? Right.   - OS
  15. I've read nothing but AOK on the Omnis, but probs with Plum Crazy and the first gen of the Frontier.   I've got an Omni on the way, if my LGS ever gets it's act together with jiving their new address with FFL.   If they show in stock at PSA, they are. For all their faults lately, they seem to always have the real time inventory thing down.   The lower kit is only maybe $25 over pre-panic pricing, the lower is $30 more than what PSA was selling them for.   Just posted it 'cause things are so hard to get right now. And it'll take over two weeks to get these, too.   - OS
  16. Yup, all of those look normal to me. And none looks like either of Triple's pix. - OS
  17. Color balance looks like Flat VERY Dark Earth on my monitor. :) - OS
  18.   Carrying a loaded firearm is always "intent to go armed" in TN.  Period. And you must qualify for exception or defense to possess one.   You get caught with a loaded firearm on your person or in your vehicle, sans any of the exceptions or defenses, the state does not have to prove you "intended" anything. The cartridges define your "intention".   - OS
  19. $130 --------------------- $70
  20. In shooting stockpile enough .223, 9mm, and .357/.38, to shoot some kind of centerfire maybe through mid summer, enough .22LR to go past that, maybe.  Don't feel so weird about buying ammo all along now.   Not touching EOTWAWKI stash, so if things don't free up by then, may get back into golf.   - OS
  21.   Yeah, I've heard him say that  New Jersey's gun laws are "about right".   - OS
  22. She'll lose weight, get tucks, new outfits, hairdo, etc. She'll look 50 by the time she announces. She's probably in the spa daily already. Then again, might decide the Golda Meir look serves better as stateswoman. - OS
  23.   Actually, it's a woman. (CA lookup)   - OS
  24.   I doubt if the transition from what's transpiring now will be much noticeable.   - OS
  25.   No, it's simply that the current electorate won't go with a true conservative, let alone a libertarian. The electorate being, of course, that 57% or so of eligible voters who actually turn out.   Paul would fare better than his Dad in the primaries, but no way he even gets the nomination. Besides, unless the Big Bad Things happen, Hillary is a lock.   If it weren't for effective GOP gerrymandering, they wouldn't even have a majority in either House.   - OS
