What I can't get over is just how atypical of any of the other mass shooters I've ever read about, just how "ordinary" this guy was. 64 years old well retired Anglo accountant, upper middle class at the lowest, so far no history of any kind of political/religious extremism or even activism at all, no documented mental probs, violence, no military/militia stuff, etc. Bought guns over lots of years, like many of us. Plans out the attack well in advance in a quite logical way. Not isolated from remaining family, brother seems genuinely astounded by it. The only remotely odd thing in his life seems to be fact that his father was a bank robber, but he apparently had no contact with him at all after he was 5 years old or so. Just eerie. - OS

The Raptor grip does also offer what many feel is an ergonomic advantage over standard pistol grip only configuration. Mainly, that it keeps your wrist in a straight locked position in relation to the rest of your forearm, rather than in an upright position with conventional pistol grip where recoil makes wrist flex backward independent of the forearm. Meaning that recoil is distributed more against entire forearm with elbow being the "hinge point" rather than being concentrated primarily on the wrist as the hinge point. Have the Mossberg Shockwave, but can't report firsthand for another couple months or so, but will when I can. Yes. By federal law, a resident of any state may buy long guns from an FFL in any other state. Though some states have limitations on that via their own state laws. It's always possible to run into an FFL (usually smaller shops) that won't do it for one reason or other. Their main reason being that there are a number of states that have "contiguous state" laws, ban certain type firearms, and so on which they are also mandated to obey, so they just make it simple for themselves and only sell to their own residents rather than keep up with all the laws. - OS

Depending on your remote, just push On Demand button, Xfinity button to get to menu, then On Demand. Several ways to find stuff on there, including a search function. Probably easiest for newbie, is just go the TV Shows/By Network / FOX, then down to The Orville (listed alphebetically as "O" in this case. Oh, and controlled by the Rew/Play/Pause/FF part of your remote once you've fired it up. Note that sometimes on new shows for a while the FF is disabled, so you have to watch the commercials. Ton of stuff on there, all depends on your subscription as to what is free and what isn't, or what you can see at all depending on channels you have or don't. You should have Movies/Free Movies, maybe StreamPix too (more free movies), dunno if that's included with Starter or not. - OS
