  1.   Not me. For one thing, I never equate the individual with the art.   The Beatles combined produced a huge volume of varied and timeless music that will be performed forever, just like the classic composers of old.   Chuck's great, and a fantastic live performer, but musically he's a four chord one trick pony by comparison -- his legacy,  though likely also timeless, will remain as it mostly is now, limited to a handful of hard core rock and roll tunes.   - OS
  2.   Yep agree totally. Groundbreaking, and cross spanned genres, from rock and roll, psychedelic, to just plain beautiful timeless tunes, like Michelle, Blackbird, Yesterday, In My Life, off top of head. Melodies that will last as long as the species does.   Plus the mere volume of successful output from all the styles combined was staggering.   - OS
  3.   Another method that always sounds good on paper. :)   In practice though, sitting without pant legs riding up,  crossing legs, all while facing someone directly, not so much IMO.   Simply tuckable IWB holster always sounds good too, might work with small gun, but again, you have to be rather careful. I experimented with tucking, found could maybe work with mousegun, but nothing much bigger. And slow to get to also.   I'm still thinking pocket pistol, with mental prep for a touch of Krav Maga type initial response to give you time to get to it. :)   - OS
  4. Well, as long as even the detractors still care enough to watch it, I guess that's the bottom line demographic for the series' continued success.   I poo poo the details bout as much as anyone, but still generally wind up watching each episode twice.   - OS
  5.   Shoulder holsters always sound good on paper, but unless you're gonna keep a buttoned up sport coat on all the time, you're gonna see it, will be noticeable even then to astute observer.  Shoulder holsters are at their most cumbersome sitting down.   Vertical and horiz models each have their pluses and minuses, but I just don't see that as viable.   I'd probably just opt for a pocket pistol, and be thinking more about tactics of getting to your feet in a hurry to deploy it.   - OS
  6.   Never even near one, apparently. :)   - OS
  7.   Again, what AntiVirus program are you three using?   - OS
  8.   Well, we lost God given gun rights in 1934 I reckon, not to mention crapping on the Second Amendment the first major time.   - OS
  9.       Maybe bad defs, dunno. AVG doesn't sound off very often on web sites at all, but says this one contains:    "JS/HiddenLink.B"  and  "Exploit Blackhat SEO (type 1720)"   What AV y'all using?   Anyway, can somebody post the pic?   - OS
  10.   balloons   FTFY :)
  11. No way a bobby would be allowed to have that knife.   - OS
  12.   "Requires installation by a qualified gunsmith."   They'll send ya to Leavenworth thar boy.   - OS
  13. What could you possibly be charged with? Poaching?   I'd opine it would be light years from meeting burden of proof on anything like that.   - OS
  14.   You have to take away TV, smartphones, gasoline, and oh yeah, food.  Probably wouldn't "revolt" even then, just rampage.   Pretty far cry from revolting over taxes on paper and tea, eh? We've come so far.   - OS
  15.   Not really. Closest was the now croaked real Doc who basically said a "super virus", compared it to the 1918 flu pandemic.   Think "virus" has been said a number of times, so seems to be the consensus. Which is why it was dumb scriptwriting to have them go on the risky mission for "antibiotics" in the first place.   Given the cursory treatment of water, human waste, and bodies they're shown, everybody would have been DeadLive via cholera or whatever by now anyway in the "real" world.   - OS
  16. I keep a spare knife in mine. Might be same. :) - OS
  17.   "Take two, they're small". :)   - OS
  18.   Hey, a real answer to the actual issue! ;) Thanks, really.   - OS
  19.   You carry change in your wallet? I've never even considered it. Anybody else do that?   - OS
  20. Sigh. Guys, the topic is NOT   - type of image - size of image - storage of image on TGO - storage on offsite provider - your bandwidth - TGO bandwidth - the Super Bowl   The topic is about the link to a picture that many pages use. The images are still JPEG, GIF, or PNG, but since the link does not name them as such, the PB Board software, or the settings within it, disallow them for embedding within a post, even though browsers parse them just fine:   Again, OP's example:   https://www.govtrack.us/congress/votes/111-2009/s396/diagram   (simple PNG image)   Here is another, picked at random:   https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRP_S2LQ4fxylY50bDWgcDs5HvqLS-ne3XX3HDvLw8yiT3LZ4sILQ   (simple JPEG image)   Again, to clarify, these type URLs can not be put in a post, but of course display fine if you simply click on them.   - OS
  21.   Even better, now only ONE WEEK!:   http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/04/foghorn/breaking-atf-clears-nfa-paperwork-backlog-turnaround-now-under-1-week/   - OS
  22.   Who knows. Like with all things zombie related, you have to have a heaping dose of suspension of disbelief for the "logic" of infection.   I mean, ONLY a bite turns you? C'mon, like there's something in zed saliva only that infects you, but not any of the other systemic goo they get all over them, into cuts, nose, mouth, eyes, whatever? All of those are also blood crossing entries for infection, and safe to posit that even if it was only the "saliva" it would be spread around as infection vector in these ways too.   - OS
  23.   Those points aren't even topic of discussion, Mikey. Till now, I guess. ;)   - OS
  24.   Duh on me. "Obamacare". Not enough sleep, or coffee, or both, sorry.   - OS
  25. Of course you can host any pic yourself, that's not the point.
