  1. She's same one who had to make nice after poking sadistic fun at Mitt's black grandkid. Also the Maoist sounding "collective parenting" promo spot MSNBC aired for a while.   - OS

    Sub 2000

I have one, shares mags between my Beretta 92, and the 30 rounders are really nice.   In TN though,  you lose one of it's main selling points -- discreet super compact rifle carry in general public.   - OS
  3. I'd suggest vertical for a big heavy heater like the GP.   Triple K is pretty decent, have a belt holsters for a Blackhawk, molded for it nicely, contracted by Ruger for most of their single actions. Dunno if what you're looking at is custom boned for the gun or more generic "smooth" fit, they make different stylings.   - OS
  4.   Yeah, it is. From CDC:   "The 2013-2014 trivalent influenza vaccine is made from the following three viruses: an A/California/7/2009 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus; an A(H3N2) virus antigenically like the cell-propagated prototype virus A/Victoria/361/2011; a B/Massachusetts/2/2012-like virus. It is recommended that the quadrivalent vaccine containing two influenza B viruses include the above three viruses and a B/Brisbane/60/2008-like virus."   Don't even know if I got the tri or the quad, though.   - OS
  5. I was gonna recommend Carbonite. ;)
  6. Kershaw Skyline a popular choice. Doubt if there's anything lighter that is still beefy enough to serve well. US Made, manual flipper. 'bout 30 clams: - OS
  7. I hit Kroger frequently, but do the Big Grocery Shop every 6 or 8 weeks at Sam's. Pretty much save the whole yearly 35 clams membership fee in one trip compared to Kroger, mostly just on meat alone.   - OS
  8.   Well, the hoi polloi give it a 6.3 on IMDB, not bad.   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1032751   - OS
  9.   In Knoxville, it is 5% and is every Wed, has been thus for years.   I mean, maybe it used be 10 on the first Wed, never noticed if it was, and don't shop just on Wednesdays because of it or anything.   - OS
  10.   Yeah, they are, and mine too, from several years ago.   - OS
  11. Oh Shoot

    New pistol

Original XD service or sub compact are around that for the stripped down XD gear packages where you just get the two mags.   - OS
  12.   Don't know what you're trying to say. The only thing that changed last year was that the existing knife law is now state preemptive, meaning local gov can't make more restrictive ones and unlike gun laws had no grandfathering in of any preexisting ones.   - OS
  13.   Gotcha.   OP, tell that gal to take the hunter safety course. :)   - OS
  14.   His default always seems to lean toward individual freedom, though, except maybe for illegal aliens and abortive mothers. Oh yeah, and don't say gay. ;)   He is the Senate sponsor of the bill to preempt local park carry jurisdiction, btw.   - OS
  15.   I see no distinction in 1307 or 1308 between a minor and an adult. Neither word is mentioned at all.   - OS
  16.   Oh, c'mon, he's our Loveable Loon. Still gets my vote, so far.   - OS
  17.     And 173 of them are lawyers.   - OS
  18. Ironic that many of Harv's movies feature guns guns guns:   Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction True Romance Jackie Brown Equilibrium Sin City Grindhouse (Planet Terror) Django Unchained   etc.   - OS
  19.   Surely you could get Crazy Stacey from the Senate? Downside is I assume he doesn't carry a helluva lotta weight in the legislature due to most of them being leery sharing some of his wacky press.   - OS
  20.   It's also the capitol, and this is how some states get bent toward liberalism even though the majority of the citizenry is not. Cross reference to Denver, for example.   - OS
  21.   It is also an exception to illegal carry if done at "the person's place of business", which AFAIK has never been clarified by case law or even AG opinion?   - OS
  22.   Beltman without the extra internal stiffener option serves well for everything. I wear with from jeans and shorts to dress pants (at least all the ones I wear will take 1.5" width), while supporting full size gun OWB or IWB, or one in pocket, or both. Or fine with no gun at all.   - OS
  23. Hate to say it, but better if somebody besides Stacey had sponsored it out of Senate. He's our loveable nutball and all, but I don't think he commands much clout over there.   - OS
  24. Yeah, I use a two sided one with coarse compound on one side and medium on the other similar to: - OS
  25. The Chinese Kershaws are some of the best bangs for the buck in knifedom.   Clash, Burst, Asset, Oso Sweet, Tremor, etc.   - OS
