  1.   Or ones you might be able to make from scratch with 3D printers or whatever.   - OS
  2.   Dream on. Even if somehow magically abandoned, the loaded deck money flow would recreate their replacements into pretty much identical entities.   - OS
  3.   Our difference: you think things in DC could improve while I posit they can only get worse. Much worse,  if our mutually despised "RepubliCratRinos" lose both chambers.   - OS
  4. Lots of liberals would call that child abuse. I mean, what if they go off? ;)   I'm reminded of the time I dropped a 100 round  box of 9mm in the entrance of a Wally, bag and box busted open and shells spilled everywhere. Several people jumped nervously and one lady pointed and screamed "BULLETS!".   - OS
  5. Looks like he's in the brief state between full on and full off switch positions. :)   - OS
  6.   I wouldn't drive from Sweetwater for either one myself. The last Smokey Mtn one I went to seemed to have a higher % of old collectible/military guns/parts than the big ones, if that's your thing. I didn't find the one at Shriners in 'Nooga to have any particular saving graces to speak of at all. The one at Camp Jordan is much bigger, but doesn't happen but maybe couple times a year.   Maybe others will have a different opinion, don't take mine as gospel.   - OS
  7.   First big diff is that both are quite small compared to the RK shows here at Chilhowee Park or Expo Center in Knoxville.   - OS
  8.   Can probably at least keep your guns with the latter.   - OS
  9. Unfortunately, not all them pols in Kali only affect Kali:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffI-tWh37UY   - OS
  10.   Yeah,  Spydercos I know are quite light for their size.  My Military shows 4.4.   Zero Tolerance stuff is probably among the heaviest for length, the 0350 is just over 6 oz, and it's only 3.25" blade.   - OS
  11.   Ah, thanks -- had no idea to what you were alluding -- hell, I checked to see if Alexander Graham Bell has been a mortician or something. :)   - OS
  12. I handled a couple that went through this feller's shop. Amazing, both bolt action and trigger:   http://recommordnance.com/   - OS
  13. Thing is, within 3-4" folders, there just isn't gonna be a huge diff in weight for the most part. I mentioned the Skyline because at 2.5 oz, it is one of the lightest and thinnest quality 3.25" knives out there, due to thin blade and one sided liner, but heck, even the much bigger and brawny CS 4" Voyager I carry daily is only 4.8 oz, it's not like the weight diff is likely to cause back probs or anything I wouldn't think. :) - OS
  14.   What do you shoot and at what?   - OS
  15. Well, hope everyone who doesn't believe in the "lesser of two evils" doesn't mind if the Dems have majority in both chambers, plus the presidency.   Oh, yeah, and SCOTUS being waayyy left for the next 25 years minimum. If you don't think that's makes any "difference", there's no argument that will sway you, I reckon.   - OS
  16. Nifty, wicked, and yet utile. I also like their Mini Tac series. CS makes (or "designs" to be fair) some good stuff -- currently carrying the 4" current Voyager model, and hope to do same with the 5.5" brute if the legislature comes through this session. - OS
  17. I carry a necker most of the time, currently the CRKT Minimalist Bowie: Some use on belt also with clip that either comes with it, or bought separately: The other main one I tote is the somewhat larger LawDog. Liked it so much that I had custom sheath made for it, even though the the one that comes with it is "okay". Surprising quality and utility from what's largely known as a cheapo mall ninja model maker. - OS
  18. I repeat from other thread about this at http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/74909-harvey-weinstein-and-meryl-streep-to-make-movie-slamming-the-nra/   Hypocrite meter is pegging -- look at some of the gun flicks Weinstein has produced.   Reservoir Dogs Pulp Fiction True Romance Jackie Brown Equilibrium Sin City Grindhouse (Planet Terror) Django Unchained   - OS
  19.   PC Doctor? That come installed on the Dell? Perhaps uninstall it?   Also the restarts: fan  working okay, not overheating?   - OS

Which is why I said "in general public" in #11 and "on your person" in #16. And why its biggest selling point of folding up in a briefcase or backpack isn't really all that in this state. And another reason an AR or AK pistol is attractive.   - OS

Not on your person, only in your vehicle.   - OS
  22.   Yeah, it's like temporarily cancelling your health insurance off and on every day.   - OS
  23.   2nd wave of folks who 6 months ago were sneering at the prices because they thought they had enough to weather the storm.   - OS

No, meant can't tote it around with any ammo at all on your person for it. There goes the "briefcase" or "backpack" concept.   - OS
