Especially since you can already carry in Knox County parks. - OS

Don't know that I've ever seen a significant accumulation in TN with such a short life span as this one. - OS

Well, except for various crummy accommodations, apparently so far so good there. - OS

Must've been long time since you've been eBaying. Sellers can't offer cash, checks, or money orders as payment types for shipped items since late 2008. And btw, almost certainly your cc info didn't get stolen through PayPal, but through some other source. If indeed those rogue transactions were credit card payments actually processed by PayPal,. then somebody hacked or phished you to get into your account. - OS

Later, still coming down, not as hard though. - OS

Federal court, not local. The feds have their own local corruption but it's back in DC, not in NOLA. - OS

He's probably a lock for SCOTUS under Hillary if it doesn't happen first under BHO. Unless the Senate goes GOP and shows some backbone besides. - OS

From the Urb in Ktown: Guess could be 4-5 inches before it peters out. Hell, we had maybe 3/4" earlier in day on ground, snowed fast enough to accumulate that before it melted cause wasn't even 32 degrees. We're at 30 right now, but heck, gonna get up to 43 tomorrow. - OS

My mom's big on "things happening in threes". Of course, just depends on when you decide number 1 is, and how long you want to run the duration until you call it done with 3. :) See, that's three already, if you started with him. - OS

Folks, he's not announced he's leaving .. this is all from an "interpretation" from one interview. - OS

There is just as much if not more anecdotal evidence that initially presenting your permit during a traffic stop gets you out of a ticket, and that the vast majority of LEOs will not care about disarming you. - OS

Yep, silencers are not controlled items in many European countries, and indeed their use is even encouraged just for that reason. The US is still hung up on silencers being a "gangster hit man" thing. - OS

Dol, it's still a pistol over 26", no federal length limit on OAL or barrel length for "handgun". It only becomes a "firearm" when the VFG is added.because it no longer fits the definition of "handgun" (designed to fire with one hand), but neither fits the definition of AOW either due to ATFs somewhat arbitrary past definition of "concealable". Remove the VFG, and it's again a handgun/pistol., One quirk, if you do indeed conceal such a legally configured "firearm" on your person, then it becomes an AOW while concealed. That's the reason I'm not going to carry or transport my "firearm" as such with VFG attached, as technically the HCP does not cover it, since it is not a "handgun" or "rifle" or "shotgun" in that config. - OS

Or GA or AL. Unless something has changed, no retail walk in there. - OS

According to discussions on eBay sellers board, PID number used to be just for USPS internal tracking and investigation after the fact, and it didn't work for customers on the regular public tracking database, but something has changed in the last 6 months or so and is indeed working there. But apparently it's not consistent, and some do and some don't. Indeed is confusing, but that's the only thing I could find. Since I print all my USPS through PayPal seller shipping tool, it's not an option to NOT have tracking, so I haven't had any PO counter experience in years except to pick up packages that mostly for one lame reason or other didn't deliver to my digs. - OS

Did you register on it? Meaning, it's not automatic or anything when you join TFA. - OS

OIC, well in that case guess it probably does need something on it. - OS

Yup, personally I wouldn't even consider covering the stainless or nickel or whatever it is. - OS

http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/75662-evolution-of-my-firearm/ Upper is 10.5" barrel. I bought it complete from J&T Distributing (the Double Star folks), has always run like a top from the git go. Buffer tube is the new model from KAK: http://www.kakindustry.com They make two tubes that are specially designed for the SB15 brace. The original simply screws in flush with no castle nut, sized for milspec thickness end plate to catch buffer retaining pin and the new one uses castle nut like standard carbine tube, will work with about any thickness plate: Both are right at 8.5" long past the receiver, and will give you more than 26" with a 10.5" barrel without counting muzzle device, which is nifty, even if you don't care about using the SIG brace, but would like more tube length for 3rd point of contact alongside cheek or into shoulder, or to use a VFG. They both use standard carbine buffer and spring, and come without them or with just tube. They also sell it with the SIG brace in a combo also. Incidentally, there are folks using the LAWS folding stock adapter to get the extra length also, or even adding it to the existing KAK tube for even longer LOP: - OS

Well, ya had Rick telling Carl the zed in the roadhouse was "weak", but that was the only one an ax to the head hasn't killed yet. :) Then again, ole Rick was pretty weak at that point too. But yeah, really, if you're gonna postulate a crazy fiction, you need to be consistent with the "rules". That and the woefully unrealistic gun play throughout have been TWD's biggest downsides. - OS

Both nice but I really really dig the old Wingmaster. - OS
