SG has beaucoup, but no bulk: http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/browse/shotgun-shells-16-gauge-shells.aspx?c=97&s=942 Had flat rate $5 ship last time I looked, looks like that expired. They don't charge by weight though, just by order dollar amount. - OS

Since this made the rounds of all the Forums when it happened (Steve Irwin)
Oh Shoot replied to a topic in General Chat
We see same interview? :) Guy said ray stabbed "hundreds of times in a few seconds", but Irwin was apparently only hit once, as the fellow only described him as having the single wound, a "2 inch wide injury over his heart". - OS -
Biggest thing it has done was to remove possibility of felony conviction for a permit holder having loaded firearm in vehicle on school property. - OS

I've got some Nobel Sport 2 3/4 LE double naught, has 12 pellets instead of 9. Those babies must be loaded with frigging nuke material. It's worse than 3 inchers. Even the Mosinites in the crew declined to shoot it more than once. I relegated it to "use only if SHTF and all other buckshot is expended" status myself. - OS

Wow, just how often do you have to use it defensively? ;) - OS

HCP reminder from Knox Sheriff
Oh Shoot replied to Mike.357's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
1. it doesn't list address 2. folks since April 2013 won't be on there. - OS -
I've bought from Cabela's quite a bit over last 5 years or so because they were the only place that sold gun stuff and ammo where I could use my credit card kickback. They've added Wally now, so usually just get the gift cards to their stores (includes Sam's too). - OS

HCP reminder from Knox Sheriff
Oh Shoot replied to Mike.357's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
If I had a Twitter account and knew how, I'd put it on Waggoner's twitter feed along with link to this thread, probably get things stirred quicker: https://twitter.com/wagg4sheriff Can't find a simple email link on http://waggonerforsheriff.com - OS -
HCP reminder from Knox Sheriff
Oh Shoot replied to Mike.357's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Yep, my first thought was how is this kosher with the current sheriff using the HCP database, and especially for campaign purposes, what with the primary less than 60 days away. And I too wonder about the legality of this what with the fairly new law about that. Incidentally, I didn't get one, but just got a flyer from his competitor today, Bobby Waggoner, who claims massive cronyism and overspending with regards to Jones' executive staff County primary is is May 6th. - OS -

Don't even have to save it if on a web page, just open another browser window to http://images.google.com and drag the image over to entry dialog and drop. - OS -

Groovy to the max. I handled the full size American .22 last week, first one I'd seen. I think I might have bought it if ammo wasn't the way it is. Even though I have plenty to feed it for some time, especially being a bolt gun, it still felt "weird" to me thinking about adding a .22 right now. I thought the trigger was quite nice was one thing. - OS

Odd looking mag somehow...did you perhaps load top round backwards ala the famous HK pic flub? - OS

Obviously the passenger is breaking 39-17-1307 by possessing a loaded firearm on his person. Period. Though once he leaves it in the vehicle and exits the vehicle, I don't see how it's not as legal as any other firearm stored there; whether factor that driver should know about it or not and give permission is perhaps gray, but not addressed by the statute. Again, passenger is clearly guilty of 1307 violation. Can't see that the driver has broken any laws, unless they want to try aiding and abetting in the commission of a misdemeanor or something esoteric like that. - OS -
That's one of the prevailing "maybes". This could have simply been one also, and something else happened. Talking heads keep mentioning the Bojinka thang. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bojinka_plot - OS

Oh Shoot replied to daddyo's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
IANAL, but I don't see how passengers' firearms could possibly be excluded, since the statute does not specify them as being so and neither is there any "personally owned firearm" wording or similar. Actions that aren't specifically prohibited are legal, way it works. - OS -
Yeah, but he was upfront about it, and has regularly done that through that travel agency, so we'll see. - OS

Oh Shoot replied to daddyo's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
"A" does not mean "one" in legalese. If you were limited to one, it would say "one" or "single". No TN weapon law does that, they all refer to "a" firearm or "any" firearm. You are not charged with multiple counts of unlawful carry of "a" firearm if you have several on you either. - OS -

Oh Shoot replied to daddyo's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Correct. If neither of you has a permit, neither of you could have a loaded firearm in the car period, one of you could be charged with unlawful possession. Obviously anytime one has a loaded firearm on his person without a permit it is unlawful carry. And remember that a firearm doesn't necessarily have to be actually loaded to be "loaded". - OS -

No, currently in the statute there is no wording for a prohibition against your keeping his firearm in your vehicle, assuming you have a permit. Indeed, with the new revisions, seems there would be nothing against him leaving it in your car even if you don't have a permit, since it's perfectly legal for you to loan him your car, and he could then be legally in possession of the vehicle. - OS -
