?? 68.39-10.00 gift card + free ship = .233 / round - OS

Because another one they tried to kill survived and got the Nobel Prize. Maybe this will finally turn the damn Paki government against the frickers in force. - OS

Somehow the "905" mistake got perpetuated all over the place. It's .950 caliber, shoots the ".950 JDJ". The maker got an exemption from ATF to get around the destructive device thang. - OS

Not necessarily, long as you don't eat the dough. It's all a carb/sugar game, and they are synonymous for all practical purposes. - OS

I'm as leery of "gummit" as most anyone here, but any of you who really really think that the twenty kids and 5 adults who were killed in that school were all fabricated, then y'all have really ascended to the Uber Mad Hatter level of tinfoil usage. As far as Lanza's ability to do it, any reasonably competent range shooter could probably have killed more than that with a 10/22 with such a captive audience. Hell, I'd probably have been able to at least double his total with an AR, and wouldn't have had to use half the rounds he actually fired to do it either. Then again, yeah, I know, we've never been to the moon either. Wow. - OS

Probably does. Things get filed by idiot shyster lawyers to get the initial bucks, get press if a hot issue, then never heard from again as they get dropped. Notice article said it was filed in state court, so probably has to go through the channels before getting dismissed. - OS

WOW! Sotomayor the lone voice of reason in 4th Amendment case

Note: she had been Federal District Judge and Federal Appeals Court Judge for 17 years. - OS -
Wishing you the best outcomes for the triple threat there, Bersa. The diabetes care will likely be the biggest issue over time ... pay close attention to it. What was the "26 inches of mesh that makes up my inner abdominal body wall" a fix for? - OS
-
Bizarre. Would think the internal gas port in the block would be there by virtue of the original casting or whatever, not added by machining afterwards, but admit I don't know much about those processes. - OS

I often carry its brother as necker. Removed the tassel, it tickled my chesthairs. :) - OS

Yep, assuming that was a new virgin lower you got from your local FFL, all fine under both federal and TN law. - OS

You could just configure it as a pistol first so you can shoot it till SBR and silencer stamps come in, then add stock and can. 'Course if you have a trust, apparently that only takes a month to six weeks with Eform these days, so may not matter much. - OS

""Shotgun" means any firearm designed, made or adapted to be fired from the shoulder.." It was never designed to be fired from the shoulder. Never had a stock on it from day one. But that's the same as federal, too. TN to my knowledge has always acceded to federal laws and rulings regarding firearms. The >12 " barrel for a "handgun" is the only glaring exception I know of. Know of no case where it has ever been tested though. Yes, I know the punk in middle TN got charged with having SBR for a .223 pistol, etc. I'd say if that had been you or I, we might well could have picked up a good payday from that, btw. - OS

??? You mean it freaked her out to much to go in stores, or what? - OS

That seems to be what most folks do who cut one themselves. Pretty forgiving technique since no crown necessary. - OS

Nifty. My range bag gets so heavy I 'bout need a real mule to carry it. - OS

The same federal restrictions on firearm possession apply to ammunition possession also: Has been convicted in any court of a crime punishable by imprisonment for a term exceeding 1 year; Is a fugitive from justice; Is an unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance; Has been adjudicated as a mental defective or has been committed to a mental institution; Is an alien illegally or unlawfully in the United States or an alien admitted to the United States under a nonimmigrant visa; Has been discharged from the Armed Forces under dishonorable conditions; Having been a citizen of the United States, has renounced his or her citizenship; Is subject to a court order that restrains the person from harassing, stalking, or threatening an intimate partner or child of such intimate partner; or Has been convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence - OS

As Carter mentions, there is now a niche ruling that is an exception to that. Similar to the ruling about having a VFG on a pistol that is 26". And now there is a very new letter to Black Aces Firearms that seems to indicate that even this is a legal non-NFA firearm. This is significant as the ruling seems to defacto expand the allowance of just what constitutes to legal overall length on a firearm and also legislates for the first time how a firearm is actually discharged. I'd let that last one play out for a bit before configuring one myself though, for several reasons. - OS

Not limited to felons, btw .. same federal prohibitions on ammo possession as gun possession. - OS

I don't get it. Gas tube goes in the upper hole and secured by pin through the small hole in side. Are you saying there's no channel from the part that secures to the barrel up through top of block to mate with the hole in the gas tube? It's this one, right, not talking about something wrong with adjustable model right?: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/2160523437/egw-gas-block-single-picatinny-rail-clamp-on-ar-15-lr-308-standard-barrel - OS

What's changed of course, is that all the folks who used to have maybe a brick laying around at most, and who counted on being able to buy more whenever they ran low and wanted to shoot, now all want at least 5-10K rounds stashed. Little practical difference between "occasional plinkers" and "survivalists" now in how folks view the situation. Just like using available space on the highways .. generally plenty of room, but not when everyone who has a car is there all the time. - OS

Dunno what time period you mean, but it's over 5 million since they started making them. Still only about half as much as the Marlin 60 though. - OS

Kroger was dominant Chatt grocery chain when it was there. Goes back to nationwide union negotiation in late '80s. Nooga employees went on strike in '89 and Kroger simply sold all the stores rather than knuckle under. Sold them pretty much overnight to Red Foods (Bi-Lo later bought them). Nooga is only metro area in the state in which they have no presence -- I suppose they're never seen it viable to buy back in down there from scratch to start over. - OS

I've shot them since I was kid (back when the Chinese first invented gunpowder). But they are not reliable in 3 of my semi-auto .22s. Can't imagine exactly why, dimensions seem same as any other 40 gr. leadhead. - OS

So, what does tracking show? Was it same number they had communicated to you? - OS
