  1.   Even if they were, 2,000 of them would be $400K, not $1.2M.   - OS
  2.   Yep, hasn't been an issue in TN yet, but getting there. Hussein got almost 40% of the vote here even in 2012.   - OS
  3.   For the most part, answer is simple yes. Even TVA accedes by policy to state and local law on "undeveloped lands". Not that it figures in E. TN, but I believe Corps of Engineers property is still problematic regarding that?   - OS
  4.   But of course. Also, others have noted that the sporting exception for M2AP was not mentioned in the new manual.   - OS
  5.   No. Proposed ban with comment period is their intention. They claim changing the manual before that happens was the "error".   - OS
  6.   Now apparently ATF claims that was a "publishing error":   http://controversialtimes.com/news/breaking-atf-issues-statement-saying-paperwork-showing-m855-banned-was-publishing-error/   - OS
  7.   ATF now apparently "says" that was a mistake, a "publishing error":   http://controversialtimes.com/news/breaking-atf-issues-statement-saying-paperwork-showing-m855-banned-was-publishing-error/   - OS
  8.   Lotta folks use saddle soap, mink oil, whatever on leather to make it more soft and/or supple. Good idea maybe for jackets and furniture, not so much for holsters.   - OS
  9. Solid steel insert in nose, ahead of rest of lead core:
  10.   Is the rain usually the dry type there?   - OS
  11.   TaxAct Deluxe is a complete solution for anything short of maybe advanced business needs, allows multiple returns, etc. If you pre-order it, only $9.95 instead of $20 each year.   - OS
  12. All .25/round or less .223 and 7.62x39 availability is now officially about the same as .22LR.   - OS
  13. FireFox w/ Fire FTP AVG Free (though I'm using Windows Essentials on a new desktop so far) WordWeb Yankee Clipper NoteTabPro IrfanView PrimoPDF   - OS
  14. Seems all the sub .25/round Russian .223 is gone from the usual go-to places online.   Even 7.62x39 is being affected. Sigh.   - OS
  15.   Seems all the <.25/round Russian bulk is out of stock at the major go-to online places.   - OS
  16.   Again, eBay itself does not charge sales tax.   - OS
  17.   2002. Dumped their own competing BillPoint and went with PP instead.   - OS
  18. There are lots of firearms companies in IL, Springfield Armory being I guess the largest.   - OS
  19. TaxAct
  20.   No, but eBay does report your total gross sales to IRS at a certain threshold, though I don't remember the amount. They announced it years ago, quite upfront about it, in the User Agreement somewhere.   PayPal may do the same, not sure, their TOS changes so often I haven't kept up.   - OS
  21. eBay does not charge sales tax.   Each seller, including yourself, sets sales tax options for each listing.   - OS
  22.   Right around 90 days out or so, I think.   - OS
  23.   Only Straw Plains in Knox if you wind up going that route. But you can renew at any full service DMV in the state, and generally worth it to go to Maryville or Clinton to do it, as the Straw Plains station is more often mobbed than not.   - OS
  24.   And a whopping 100 of them signing on, out of 535.   - OS
