  1.   With a helmet cam, couldn't have filmed it unless knew it was coming and turned his head back around just as it was happening --  was still sitting on bike taking his gloves off when it happened, and turned around just after the snatch, looks like to me.   - OS
  2.   Actually, whatever the figure is, almost half of it was borrowed.   - OS
  3. Only one person has been executed there in the last 38 years anyway. There are 3 guys on death row in CO now, one has been there since 1996.   Probably cheaper to keep him in same way other lifers are.   - OS
  4.   Appreciate that info.   There's a chance that I might just keep 7 on both boxes for the rest of their lives, as I did with XP. Looks like they'll still be pushing security fixes through 1/2020.   - OS
  5.   I think he'll just fade away period after Super Tuesday, and won't be a factor even if he does go nuts and run indie (and I'll bet he won't).   - OS
  6. I see nothing to change my bet on Rubio eventually winning out. He did quite well enough to bump up a good bit. Cruz and Huckabee, and even Christie too, to some degree I guess. Most all of that will come at expense of Trump's points, I'd say.   I saw Jeb's performance as pretty much a neutral meh.   The Christie/Paul rhubarb was fun.   - OS
  7. Well, I think you can watch The Donald's polling lead start throttling back now.   - OS
  8.   Maybe.   But right now, the polls are more name recognition than anything else right now.  Forget who said it, but it was true, if any well known sports figure had announced a month ago and filled out the paperwork he'd be on the main stage tonight too.   - OS
  9.   Cruz would lose hugely, no matter who the veep, no matter who the Dem opponent. Won't have to worry about it though.   - OS
  10. Glock 43 significantly larger than Kahr PM/CM, which is the largest gun I myself would pocket carry: Which means IWB/OWB. Which means I'd choose something more than 6+1. - OS
  11. Trump is of course almost certain to fade, just because of who he really has been politically, which is far more liberal than even the least conservative part of the GOP.   I'm thinking that if 4 or 5 are still tightly bunched before Super Tuesday, you might see one go ahead and match up early with a veep to try and gain the edge ongoing.   If election were tomorrow, given the choices we have, I wouldn't exactly gag at pulling the lever for say Rubio/Fiorina.   - OS
  12.   Sam seemed to have missed her closing, directly calling Hillary a liar three times. Pretty damn significant.   Perhaps Carly is the only candidate that can fully be the "attack dog" without risking perception of being sexist, eh?   - OS
  13.   Was editing as you responded ...   Note I just picked her as Veep. :)   - OS
  14.   To be fair, seems the public wasn't permitted in there for this one, not even sure who the few people on the audience were. Would have to see the demographic about TV viewership though ...   While I agree is was a relative "non-event", I think Carly "won" it, so I do look for her star to rise as some of the "a team" falter. She might wind up being veep pick or something, who knows.   - OS
  15.   To be precise, it is not necessarily illegal to drink and carry, unless you do it in a public establishment that dispenses alcoholic beverages.   In all other cases, it is illegal to be "under the influence of alcohol", a term that has no exact quantitative definition in relation to firearm possession.   - OS
  16.   She's in the prelim bout, starts in an hour.   If she can pull off being the biggest fish in the smaller pond, might be better than having been in the feature event in the first place.   I must say I've been quite impressed with her every time I've heard her responses to questions. Her take on ISIS and other Mideast issues on Morning Joe yesterday was amazing with its detailed knowledge of the various countries involved, much different from the usual "just hammer them" responses.   - OS
  17.   Hey, ruling out congestive heart failure has got to be a plus!   - OS
  18. Thinkin' of ya Glenn, wishing for the best, bud.   Mac
  19. What does the box do? - OS
  20.   Yep, indeed I think it only fair for folks to go after bear with a .25 mouse gun.   - OS
  21. Makes sense for a good wing man, but bang for the buck would be quite expensive for me!   - OS
  22. Btw, I believe there was an actual intended topic in this thread, not this one? :)   - OS
  23.   Yep. Law is silent on out of state folks bringing their own mags in, either temporarily or permanently.   The law really is basically only that no mag over 15 rounds can be sold or transferred in the state, which includes internet sales.   Of course the "transferred" part is widely ignored as folks bring them in from other states and sell to buddies, whatever, since it's basically unenforceable as the burden of proof as to when or where acquired is not on the owner.   - OS
  24. Thinking of getting a late model charger myself, as my '88 van and '95 toy truck get ever older: But seriously, nice ride! - OS
  25.   Why would there be any fewer mags? Nobody had to throw them away. They can still buy them personally in other states and possess those too. People moving or visiting there can have them, etc.  Rebuild kits are not banned and can be shipped to CO, and it's not illegal to do that. (Obviously I meant in the hands of gun owners, not in a manufacturing plant).   I'm sure it has greatly slowed the rate of hi-cap magazine expansion,  but certainly not reduced the number of them.   - OS
