  1. Extra Alien Gear shells are only 13 clams, can always add one for a 92A1 later.   - OS
  2.   I don't understand. There are two vids, one is the feed from the cameraman during the interview on the two women, and the other is the perp's, which shows all three.   - OS
  3.   Was fired from the station two years ago, so the mayhem wasn't a snap decision type reaction.   - OS
  4.   Depending on exact symptoms, almost certainly fixable I bet. 2 common efforts right off the bat: assuming you haven't tried them, buff chamber well with some Scotch Brite and try beefed up extractor.   - OS
  5.   Ah cool, Lexis has been updated, must have happened just in last few days, thanks for the notice.   As far as effective date, it was 4/24/15.   http://wapp.capitol.tn.gov/apps/BillInfo/Default.aspx?BillNumber=HB0995   - OS
  6. I bought cordless one from Wally. Never ran long enough on a charge to get much of anything done that I ever used it for. Maybe battery was defective but there was no AC module you could replace the battery one with, and I never wanted to throw any more money at it to replace rechargeable module to see.    It was in fairness the cheapest one there, but it is real Dremel brand.   - OS
  7.   As I said, purely a spread sheet call out of Bentonville. If something sits at Wally long enough to need to be dusted, it gets a close look.   - OS
  8.   What I can't understand is who is going to take money to destroy a "decommissioned firearm"? Some special deal with CMP or something? (like Scorcese probably even knows what that is).   - OS
  9. So, like somebody gives a Somali pirate or an ISIS soldier money to destroy his commandeered AK, or what?   - OS
  10.   If I were gonna stash an armory to outfit a SHTF platoon, it would likely be a top choice.  Though 9mm Hi-Point carbines would be serious contenders too. ;)   - OS
  11.   Yeah, I have two that use at least the PSA "premium" upper with FN barrels, plus one pistol that does.   The only "lesser" one is the Freedom stainless I mentioned, and it didn't come with a BCG.   - OS
  12.   39-17-1307 says must be in motor vehicle as defined by 55-1-103, and there ain't no watercraft in there.   - OS
  13.   I do believe you're safely in the "I got it" strata. ;)   - OS
  14.   Since Sandy Hook, it's also somewhat analogous to the ammo situation. Where folks used to keep a few hundred rounds of center fire or a brick or so of .22lr at most, now that's been bumped by a factor of ten or more. And similarly, one AR ain't enough either.   - OS
  15. AR pistol in .308 oughtta cover all the bases. :) - OS
  16.   I don't see how "entry" to "mid-level" AR stuff can get much cheaper and there still be a profit to moving the product, even in volume.    I opine that even the pricing of the higher end stuff is relying as much on reputation and mystique as the actual proportional difference in quality of the components.   - OS
  17. I can't see any legal reason you can do it, except for:   " Incident to lawful hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, sport shooting or other lawful activity"   Some say the fishing/camping part is only in there to allow longer knives (now moot regarding that), never seen any case law, including the often mused "other lawful activity".   A boat is not a motor vehicle under 55-1-103, so the "guns in cars" provision wouldn't count.   And as far as carrying a rifle "unloaded", that means no ammo in immediate vicinity too. Whatever "immediate" actually is.   - OS
  18.   You'd kill Lew Alcindor and Cassius Clay? ;)   - OS
  19.   Again, urge them to do what? What do you think should be done?    - OS
  20.   What do you think should be done about it?   - OS
  21.   My  backpack has so many pockets and add on molle pouches it would take a looong time to go through it all.   - OS
  22. I got impression you took the thing apart. If this was a new rifle with that in the grip, I'd say cj0e has it pegged.   - OS
  23.   Little known fact: a Tennessee Black Panther is actually the juvenile stage of the Tennessee Bigfoot.     - OS
  24.   Decent quality AR stuff is so cheap right now it really makes sense to just stash a couple of basic rifles on general purposes. Catch the right sale on PSA and you can do complete blem lower and upper and have a purt decent $500 AR without having to "build" anything using the "Freedom" line, and not much more even with the "Premium". And of course even cheaper with the PTAC line, which will kill zeds pretty well too. :)   - OS
