  1.   Are you familiar with The Internet? ;)   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTkBRztuG60   (sounds like good call Caster)
  2.   Really, has to be something very basic like that.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbf8-6_iMhg   - OS
  3.   Federal law is simply that you do not "know or have reasonable cause to believe" the recipient is not a resident of TN or is otherwise prohibited from firearm ownership. No proof is required. Nothing else is required under federal or TN law, and case law has never been established to require any documentation whatsoever to comply with that.   How far you want to go with that is up to you. Many folks just ask the buyer (or not), some require seeing a TDL for the residency part, some want to see HCP, some also want bill of sale.   Whatever you decide to require, state it upfront as part of the deal. And of course he should do the same in the case of a swap.   - OS
  4.   Anyone can. Just go to Member List, can sort by Post Count or Join Date.   You can also use before/after date in More Search Options to narrow things down without paging laboriously through the list.   - OS
  5.   Well, that's first bit of possibly real news then.   Maybe they can claim that without actually putting anything on the steel jackets at all, save production costs and promote replacement barrel sales. :)   - OS
  6. Unless I see something definitively  different, I opine it's just some that didn't get coated at all due to glitches on the production line.   A previous TGO thread about it:   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/77219-tulammo-silver-bullets/   - OS
  7.   Fulmer did beat Florida 5 times and one was on the way to the National Championship ... I'm sure most fans see that as the Glory Days by comparison.   - OS
  8. 11 in a row.   Why didn't Jones go for two after the last touchdown?  No time for 3 possessions for Florida, nothing more lost if it failed, 12 point lead same as 13 point lead if Fla scores twice with PATs, which is exactly what happened.   I think it's got to be some sort of long term gambling fix by the syndicate or something, it just seems beyond all the odds.   - OS
  9.   Dunno about  when "once did" was. Whatever the exact boost it gets from El Sur, the Catholic population still maintains about the same percentage of total population it's had since 1960 at something over 20%, even as total Christian identification has declined some 7 percentage points just over the last decade.   Ironic that the initial surge in American Catholicism happened during huge immigration from Europe in the 1800s. The Irish alone were cause enough for most of the original cathedrals in the big NE cities.   - OS
  10.   Baptists believe Jesus turned the water into Welch's grape juice, and they don't recognize each other in liquor stores. ;)   - OS
  11.   Nifty little lightshow, though. :)
  12.   You see that part as a Bad Thing?   - OS
  13. Distresses me to hear this.   I have only one of Tim's holsters, but love it. Matter of fact, he uses my pic of it on his site as example.   - OS
  14. Yep, bolt is most likely total catastrophic failure point. Even without modifying, with just a bit of tape you can get a cam pin and firing pin retainer on that too, and still get it to latch in. - OS
  15. Menu on left, check Forums and Content I Have Not Read (or narrower option).   - OS
  16. Gracious, and I thought some of the soccer stadium stampedes were bad.   Saudi Arabia: Stampede at hajj kills 717 pilgrims   http://isp.netscape.com/news/story.jsp?idq=/ff/story/1001/20150924/3477.htm   - OS
  17.   Yeah,   [pedantry]   Gatling. After Richard Gatling.   [/pedantry]   - OS
  18.   The Ilion plant is still in operation, they haven't totally left NYS.   - OS
  19.   I was told just being a Knoxville resident is enough, and I guess presumably with permit.  After all, I "might" have wanted to go to the fair, but not unarmed.   - OS
  20. Somebody has to pay for he transfer, ya know, like $15-50, depending on FFL. Plus the $10 TICS.   - OS
  21. I can certainly imagine the gawdawful legal mess that could come down on the property owner if he shot someone who was essentially invited to his property in the first place via the geocache, even if the situation did somehow evolve into what would otherwise have been perhaps a legitimate self defense response. Just really grays the whole scenario up beau coup.   - OS
  22.   Oh no, that's terrible. So sorry to hear that about Tim Thurner and family.   - OS
  23. I expect the anything named "Dixie" to come under scrutiny here and there before long.   - OS
  24.   It was definitely "denied" and not "delayed" then, and you've already done the appeal?   - OS
  25.   Since I do a lot of stuff on foot, I go into all kinds of stores all the time with my backpack. Out of all the many  places I frequent that way,  only the lowly Dollar General sometimes has ever had an issue, asking me to leave it at cashier's station.   I know Sam's might also have an issue with that though, the one time I happened to enter on foot in Nooga with a plastic bag of stuff I had bought at a nearby Sportsman's warehouse, they wanted to look in it on exit.   - OS
