Helluva piece of functionality and workmanship for 'bout $70. And the fact you can get them in a week or less, unless you want some custom options...fortunately I only half filled about 1/3 of a holster draw before settling in on them For anyone getting one...I moved the clips to the outside "tuckable" positions, with leather spacer, even though I don't tuck. Let's it flex more for better fit to bod. I get caught up on some stuff, gonna do a review/report onsite here. - OS

Now, don't laugh. I've seen chupecabra (sp)! Unlike TN painters, they're REAL! - OS

D.M. Bullard Dual Carry I would guarantee you'll like it, but since he has money back guarantee for any reason, I don't need to. He has other single clip options, but the Dual is the bomb. http://dmbullardleather.com Here's Dual Carry specifically for the P11: http://estore.websitepros.com/1565531/Detail.bok?no=229 - OS

You got a link to a game cam showing cougar in TN? - OS

Oh horse pucky. I'll believe it when I see one as a documented fresh kill. People see BigFoot all over the place, too. - OS

Some people just shouldn't be allowed to vote

Not Roth IRA's. - OS -
Certainly are in mine, and look to be in Ghooge's also; although there must be a strange tilt to his or something, as a couple of those rounds do look longer than the others, but don't seem to be .357 either. Guess it's just a trick of perspective. Mine are just lead round nose, though I've got JHP's in it now.. Guess they look so long 'cause gun is so short - OS

I grew up watching the sports I played. Now it's only golf, but I periodically watch it a lot. If I weren't a golfer, though, surely I wouldn't get off on it at all. - OS

Not a "shot" but a "dip"... I was teen fishing with my dad miles below Watts Bar Dam in area where creek comes into the river. He had a pound size stripe (white bass), long handled net was handy so for heck of it I reached out to net his fish, just as I got net to water level, BIG SPLASH, and I lift up his stripe and a very surprised 5ish lb largemouth! I was more than a little surprised myself We were good guy anglers, let the big ol boy go, since he wasn't legally caught... - OS

Yeah, IF you had good forgeries, and to get those forgeries, you'd have to know the names and addresses of the other people as registered, precinct location filled in, etc. Plus you'd need to move around to different locations in the early voting so as not to chance being "made" by some poll worker with a good memory. If done on election day, could only vote at precinct that jibed with address, etc. Quite a complicated process to falsely cast a few votes, seems to me. Surely an unlikely conspiracy to be done on a large scale either. In the old days, voter fraud was simple; it just needed corrupt local voter registration workers supplying the info to the paid shills who would walk through and vote. It really was apparently common, but mostly in state or big city elections, where several hundred to several thousand votes might truly sway an election. - OS

Yeah, I was gonna buy some at the Jacob Bldg. show. Georgia Arms being there was main reason I went. But their prices were actually same or more as I could get locally. If they didn't have to charge tax in TN, would have been cheaper. - OS

Cool. I have an old H&R .22 revolver that has sort of an "opposite transfer bar" system. Has a shim that is always in place UNTIL cocked, to prevent the rim fire hammer from contacting the round if dropped, then the shim (or transfer bar) moves out of the way so hammer can contact the round. - OS

B, Sorry about your grandmomma; a significant passing always and my sincere condolances. I traded for this one a few years ago when I wound up with nothing but a couple of .22 pistols but wanted something bigger...I gave an old Browning Nomad .22 target pistol for it. Shot it a few times to make sure it worked, then hid it away. Now that my shootin' history is revived, I've put maybe 75 rounds through it; it's a quite serviceable weapon, but I don't see a lot of reason to keep pouring rounds through it, what with having a Ruger, which is so much more robust. Just looking at the small diameter barrel on the Charter makes me think I might really could "wear it out". I just keep it as another hidden weapon within the adobe, with option of throwing it in the pocket should I want to (I have carried it some that way). It's actually a perfect BUG, better than having a puny .380/.32/.25, but I only carry one pistola at a time. You really probably shouldn't run +p through it much at all, just to be safe. Nice old addition to your arsenal! edit: incidentally, Charter claims to have invented the "hammer block safety system", don't know if this is synonymous with "transfer bar" function or not, but looks like exactly same system to me. - OS

Yeah, but the next thinning will be MUCH more severe than any war has yet managed. Socio-economic breakdown will account for a lot, and then you get the biblical baddies as a result of that. Point is, who is elected president in 2008 is the least of our worries in the overall picture. Matter of fact, these two guys are so traditionally politically mainstream GOP/DEM that they hardly matter. Same ol two party status quo. Nothing "maverick" on either side. - OS

So, I pay taxes for 45 years, and then retire on an income where I don't pay taxes. And I shouldn't be allowed to vote? - OS -
I know, there have been many premature predictions...but it really IS an inevitable situation; the debate is only as to when. You can't overdrive the planet forever. The "acres per person" isn't really valid argument; it takes MANY acres to support one person's lifestyle anymore. And most of the acres on earth are very supportive of anything, human-wise. And it's not just about food supply, although that might be enough. Matter of fact, water issues might come into play first. Or fuel. Doesn't really matter where the spiral starts, the economic situation will be the real kicker. Put it simply: if we have a depression like in the 30's, US would lose a third of its population within 5 years. At least. It won't be my father's breadline this time. Similarly in the rest of the world, probably worse in many parts. Could take another 50-75 years. Could be right around the corner. On that cheery note.... - OS

Good lord... Yeah, that oughtta do it. Unless they think you are manufacturing pistols without a license - OS

Good points. Thick is a real factor...has taken me a couple weeks to get used to XD SubCompact, about same thickness as the S&W. Feels natural on hip now, but for a while it "felt" like it showed. But it really doesn't, it's almost as concealable as my much thinner Kahr. Only diff is that the Kahr does give pocket option and the XD really doesn't. - OS

Guess so. If I were really lusting for a .45 carry, it sure looks like a likely model to try out, assuming one didn't want to go the 1911 route. - OS

Yes, there is. What's new, is almost 7 billion of us on the planet. A growing number that will crash, really CRASH, at some point. - OS

Well, you saved $50-90 on a course, though. Good move for the ole wallet. - OS

Yeah, I love my 1.5 incher. Have 1.75 incher on order now also. Most of the pants/shorts I wear will take that width, and my holsters/clips also. Thought I'd just go ahead and try maxing things out, since I seem to carry so much stuff on belt and/or in pockets. - OS

Wonder why they aren't listed on the S&W M&P page?: http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=11101&storeId=10001&categoryId=15711&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=15708&top_category=15708 - OS
