  1. No, it's UltraMax, been periodically keeping it in 9mm and .38. Had some .38 left at Knoxville Dick's just the other day. They package in a couple of different "USA red/white/blue" boxes. I almost bought some of the lead round nose 9mm several weeks ago, just because of wanting to safely shoot a metal target I got hold of, but didn't... - OS
  2. No "thought to be" about it. Our own MusicMan is on line 2. - OS
  3. Well, yes and no. The "public gathering" thing was not changed in Georgia, correct? So, no churches, public buildings (state, county, city), among other things. These are actually places you CAN carry in TN, unless posted. - OS
  4. I got raincheck call for the 1.99 buckshot, so went by Dick's Friday to get that, and yeah, noticed that American Eagle price, wow. Dick's ammo prices seem to be set by some sort of "throw at the dartboard" system. However, I also went by Wally's and paid 8.97 for Blazer Brass, .40 increase. Plus the .10 ammo fee that nobody else shows as a separate charge. - OS
  5. Looks the same, that's for sure. Most places you look it up, suggests is really same thing. However, a couple of places I've read where FMJ covers all the bullet but the base, and MC covers entire bullet, including the base. I've never taken a shell apart to confirm. Any of you reloaders know, since you see the bullets before they're crimped? - OS
  6. I actually ordered one from guy on eBay after looking into that. Will fit my 870 Synthetic 7 round (no dimpled tube), but not my other 870, standard Express. I do see stainless steel and aluminum conventional looking followers that fit the dimpled tube models, guess might be good to get one of those too. - OS
  7. Probably not anything cheaper than Winchester "White Box" .38 special at WallyWorld. About $30 per 100. They will do nicely. - OS
  8. Cobra .38. Heavy, crude, inaccurate, unsafe, AND I got ripped on purchase price (cold sober, too). Just my style!

    KIMBER Question

    Happy for you, BUT:
  10. I'm sure most of you have seen the animated "internal glock" diagrams, like this still pic indicates: Just discovered that's it's been even more accurately reworked here, and thought of MarsWolf when I viewed it. It's really fascinating how realistic this is: http://home.comcast.net/~routedriver/pub/glock/howaglockworks.gif - OS
  11. Welcome to TGO from down south of ya... - OS
  12. Well, the Magsafe might be as good as the Speer, assuming you are throwing it at the bad guy! - OS
  13. It was too much for him, he put it up for sale - OS
  14. Oh, don't get me wrong. I didn't mean to defend any Dems or anyone else. I just found it particularly repugnant that when one is successfully prosecuted and then (barely) loses reelection, he gets standing ovation from the rest of the thieves in attendance. The political system has made it mandatory that our "representatives" function as whores - our founding fathers would hang 'em all as tyrants. - OS
  15. Well, I dunno. I wouldn't be surprised to see .327 die out. I mean, only Ruger and Charter Arms even make anything to shoot it, AFAIK. Is this another solution looking for a problem? - OS
  16. Amen. Heck that's more than the DRT stuff. And it'll shoot through an oak tree to get bad guy behind it, yet won't penetrate sheetrock, so it's safer for home defense. Right. - OS

    12 ga pump

I was just doing some stuff there anyway: 112 hits for "mossberg stock" http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=mossberg+stock&_sacat=See-All-Categories - OS
