  1. Do they have an email?
  2. Great thing to do TDR!!! Wish that I had seen this earlier. Class act is right!
  3. I am currently with Advanced Alarm Technology. The charge me $9.95 per month billed annually. I already had my system so I don't know what they charge to install a system. Their phone # is 615-799-9114. This is the company that Dave Ramsey endorses.
  4. For those of you who were at the 2nd or None Event early, we heard from a woman, I didn't get her name, that was there representing an event happening next year called The Second Amendment March in Washington DC as well as marches on state capitals around the country. Their website is Official site of the Second Amendment March They have a lot of information on there and they have state coordinators and ours in TN is Thomas Harvey. His email address is theharv@charterinternet.com I am going to get in touch with him and try to get him to join here so that he can keep us informed about the march. Let's do all that we can to help this effort to be a great success and really get behind this.
  5. Since it's been a week I didn't know if the woman who was here had told you that she would sign on and keep us updated about the march. Do you remember her name? I joined their forum and hope that others will too. If there isn't a thread by tomorrow I'll start one.
  6. Hey TGO David I don't see any mention of the Second Amendment March. Are they going to come on here to promote the march next year? She made a long drive to be here and we should support it. Official site of the Second Amendment March Have I missed a thread about them?
  7. +1 You beat me to it! A great gun and priced right! Bud's also has had them for $439 shipped.
  8. Anyone know the origin of this?
  9. The away teams may wear their home jerseys at games if the host team and the SEC office approves them. Tennessee asked Bama and the SEC for permission to do just that. The SEC office said yes. Bama said no. If Tennessee chooses to wear them anyway they will get a 15 yard penalty after the opening kickoff. Kiffin has said that he is not willing to take that penalty to wear the orange jerseys. Tennessee will need more than an Orange jersey to beat Bama on Saturday. I have watched a lot of UT/AL games over the years and many times it was not the team that was thought to be the best that won the game. I hope to see another one of those on Saturday!
  10. FSU vs NC on ESPN
  11. I got the chance Sat. to ask one of our speakers about this hearing. I was told that the chance of this being successful was 50/50. He said they actually had a good case. He said that if they were successful that when the legislature went back into session that it would be quickly fixed and that I should not worry about it. I hope he's right! I hope the lawsuit will be thrown out.
  12. WOW! That woman is unbelievable! I hope they lock them both away for a very long time.
  13. It's great to hear good stories about our Police! I've seen many say that they believe that the HCP was the reason that tickets are not issued. Fortunately I haven't had the chance to see if it makes a difference. I hope that I never do. I'm happy to hear you had a good experience and thanks for sharing. I get daily reports from my councilman about the activities of the South Precinct and part of that is a list of traffic stops. They don't include who was stopped but they list how many tickets are written. They also include the number of warnings and I was very surprised how many warnings are issued each day. It convinced me that there is no quota.
  14. It's tradition!
  15. Unfortunately, you already answered your own question earlier in your post. This type of event doesn't fit their agenda! The same way that they haven't reported the fact that HCP holders haven't been shooting up restaurants in TN since July 14th. I completely agree with the Mark Twain quote that Sen. Jackson made reference to..... "If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed. If you do read the newspaper you are misinformed." Nikki you did a great job yesterday! Thanks again.

  17. While the weather was not great I will not complain about it. I came prepared for it just as I do when I go to a football game in the late fall. I go to UT games and Titans games when it's a lot worse that today and will sit out in it for 4 or 5 hours just as many of you guys do or maybe sitting in a tree stand waiting for a deer. This is much more important. Same goes for the walk. I too parked in front of Barrett's. There was a shuttle running the entire time which was a great idea. I walk farther than that to those games. The rain prevented the lot directly next to the event from being used. I had to leave as the intermission began so I didn't get to see the last half of the program but I was very pleased with the part that I did see. I would have loved to have stayed for the whole event. I would have liked to see some question and answer sessions with some of them like Sen. Jackson. I did get to introduce myself to him and he remembered me from some of the emails that I traded with him over the last 6 or 8 months. He is a class guy even if he is a Dem. but that was today's message wasn't it, working toward a common goal in a bipartisan manner whether someone is a Dem. or Republican or independent or anything else. The goal must be to preserve the Constitution, the Bill of Rights and our great country. It would have been nice to see some reps from the NRA and GOA with a tent there. Maybe some of the gun manufacturers reps set up outside with their tents. Even the TFA. Overall I thought that it was a HUGE success and for a first time event I thought that everyone involved did a first class job and had the bases covered. Thanks to all of the organizers!!!! :)
  18. Sent.
  19. How early can we begin arriving? What happened to Ron Ramsey? I thought that he was going to be there.
  20. Sent mine earlier today.
  21. What is the timetable for the event? Who will be speaking and when will they be speaking. Is there something going on the entire time? Is The Outpost going to be open for business as usual? I'm planning on being there before 11am and I'm looking forward to a great day.
  22. Glad this ended as well as it did.
  23. Watching that was not fun. I sure hope that he got out before it took off and he didn't fall out. It doesn't look good at this point.
  24. When I read this last night my first thought was to ask some friends that always set up and sell at the Goodman show. They just got the following email reply apparently from David Goodman ============================================================ ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: "David Goodman" <progun999@hotmail.com> To: **************@comcast.net Sent: Wednesday, October 14, 2009 8:40:51 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: RE: The Goodman gun show in Nashville Absolutely false. Whoever is started the rumor needs to be booted from the blog. We have signed contracts and are engaged in lawful business. Pls set the record straight. I will advise anyone who is starting false rumors to cease and desist. Dont confuse the Fair which has been discontinued with the Gun Show. The fairboard is disolving as of June 30, 2010 and the property will then be taken over by Metro department. They are just transfering control.
