The Nashville airport is not very busy at night. Donelson Pike is not directly under a flight path. There are two runways that run parallel to it so even if there are a few planes I really don't think that they will bother you. I didn't see any Letters to the Editor either but that sure doesn't mean that they didn't write them. Have you ever tried? I would guess that you have.
